- Coolermaster has launched a cheaper HAF 700 with ever so slightly less bling and a different approach to RGB.... Do you like the new style or just prefer the money saving?

I was originally looking at the Evo case. But I'm liking the understated look for the regular HAF. The retail price for it here is about $300 USD, which is half the price of the Evo. I'm looking to do a bonkers watercooled build in it as well.
waiting for my HAF 700 EVO to arrive.. this was immensely helpful. Thanks mate!
Well, I like it. I'm a sucker for the 200mm rgb fans in the front, and the cavernous room inside. Really want to give this a try... if only I can find a desk big enough for it!
Good of Coolermaster to bring out a cheaper version and Thanks for covering it for us Guv!
I just got one cant wait to build a new ryzen based desktop when they hit the market. Thanks for the review !!
They may call you 'Tiny' but you'll always be a Giant in my eyes, Tom Logan. Thank you! Be well and stay safe. 👍
Awesome, thanks for posting.
I am so excited to do a build in the Evo 700 I picked up. I may end up needing a small power plant to support it running though.
Great review, I've made my mind up - will def be getting the EVO. That front panel looks amazing! I don't like the vertical plastic over the RGB fans on the vanilla, looks a bit cheap.
Internet Cookies, not sure what that is referring to but I enjoy your reviews. You always do such an amazing job.
Thank u Mate Both Look Good Thank u For the Review Take Care
Looking for the Vanilla version and I was wondering : “Does it has a 490mm room for GPU with or without the populated HDD racks ? Looking to fit MSI 4090 Suprim x
I have the EVO and need to ask you something. In my front glass I have dust at the top embedded inside the glass. It can't be cleaned. This is a factory defect on mine. Does yours have this by any chance? I have tried to get in touch with support. I filed a claim and nothing. I love the case but their support is non existent.
Late to the party......but what ventilators can you recommend for maximal air cooling of the HAF 700 non evo? I want a vertical cpu build. So would want the strongest air intake from the bottom pushed through the cpu cooler and the hot air expired up and out of the case. Thanks for any suggestions. But no water cooling please!
Already have the Evo, going to get the berserker as well. One for air cooling, the other for water cooling.
hope they updated mystic fog formula, wanted to use it before once I saw people having all kind of issues with it, I did stay away from it
The case supports four 420mm radiators at the SAME TIME - one on top + one on side + one on front + one on bottom. The ULTIMATE custom water cooling & silent gaming PC.
Yup, it's a beast. Can support 5 360s or 4 420s. I ended up going with 4 360s on mine.
It will not fit 4-420mm without an extra fan/radiator bracket that is supplied with the Evo version. I have the case, and I had 3-420mm radiators in it though.

Looks dope =)
P.S.
By the way:
Does Thermaltake have a similar full-tower RGB case that can go head-to-head with what Cooler Master has to offer?
I feel like the bottom fan mounts, if set to intake, are more for the motherboard and associated parts rather than the GPU. Get more air flowing over the board itself. My understanding is if the top fans are exhaust, air from the front will be pulled upwards leaving parts of the motherboard without airflow, if you're using an AIO that is. An air cooler for the CPU will help pull air straight. But having at least two bottom mounted intakes, using the left and center mounts, could help send more air over the board on its way up to the rear exhaust or top exhaust.
so all the radiator mountings are the same on both cases, whats the real difference of the two is just the price and their front panel design right?
Hi, could I ask which are the black / white fans you are using so much ? Thanks :)
I think they are the Vardar X3M 120 fans, you can see it written on them when he zooms in.
have you finished your HAF EVO yet ?
Is there same amount of space in both of them?
I have just had the evo delivered today :( just whished I knew this one was coming but at least I get the better looking one :)
which Distro plate was it and how easy does it fit :) please
That's EK's universal distro plate
thank you
Hi! How do you connect the 3 radiators together with the distroplate? I saw in the manual. There is on Top Radiator Inlet/ Outlet and 1 Bottom Radiator Inlet/Outlet. How do you connect the 3. radiator into the Distroplte?
you can fit what ever you want to in and outs on the distro or loop some rads together
@@OC3D thx you very much!
Can the LCD on the Evo be taken off?
220 now on Ebuyer, which is quite attractive
Acrylic? Or glass? 1:23
Great Case and review but way too late for me, i would have preferred the layout over my 7000D Air, but the EVO was too expensive and i obviously won´t switch.
Had it six months....and STILL not done the build in it you promised...
I had both. The non-evo gave better temps overall. I think it was down to the front panel design. Non evo all the way :)
Subbed, any chance you can sponsor my family to migrate to the UK tho? lol
That huge frontal panel in the EVO seems to obstruct air, seems like the non evo version is the superior choice.
I always make it to the end to get the internet cookies. Ding.
or white with some of that gray silver look
Do you have a PSU in there? Not visible?
And again, no spinning rust?
PSU can be clearly seen and discussed in the video dude
you should show light of evo :)
That case looks more like updated H500M
Like Leo said from Kitguru, you might as well buy the evo. it has more stuff in it compared to the berserker.
For $350 extra dollars? That's more than twice the price for a couple of cosmetic things. Pretty sure kitguru was saying it sarcastically as he made fun of how cost went down at the beginning.
@@RafaelSilva-yv3oh 350 extra dollar? what in the world are you on about> Here in the UK the coolermaster Evo is 449 pounds and this case, the berserker is 349 pounds so do the math!
@@wankerka ah, that's worth it. Im in the US. In here Evo is $649 and Berserker is $299
@@RafaelSilva-yv3oh wow thats cheap!
@@wankerka I wish the Evo was only $449 though lol
🍪🍪🍪 HaF 3 ;)
Cooler Master has been 2 words for over a decade :)
compare these with Aorus c700
Fk me, nice case but that price lol. Great review Tom 👍
that case would look mint white
Agreed
almost 2 years later they've brought out the white versions,i just bought the berskerer in black as it had dropped to roughly 50% off the retail price..makes my corsair 7000d look tiny inside & out 💻
Either you are shrinking or those cases are ridiculously large
try make videos about your build that case you review.....
The evo shouldn't have had the display and it would've been great, could've been like $50 less (oleds aren't cheap + margins) and cm's shit software would be much less glaringly obvious. Heard horror stories about the screen constantly pinging the entire system and waking up/never letting the drives sleep. Oh yeah and it'd look much better too.
Wait nvm it's an lcd, all well im sure they could also remove that one included bottom fan and make it $50 cheaper. Like it's the one fan that doesn't even come plugged in, they know you aren't going to use it hahaha.
It has a google nest on the front of it
You just HAF to dont you 😁
Because much cheaper, worth buying. On newegg while haf 700evo 650 $, haf 700 300 $, much cheaper. I'm use gg translate,, sr
That case isn't big enough
Read some bad reviews of mystic fog.
Too big !
Sorry, Coolermaster. But my Thermaltake View 51is a much better case for much less money. Plus, it has a hinged glass side door.
Buying thermalfake products you support company with very bad behaviour and history of ripping off others designs. I would never buy anything from them.
@@SpectraLzz No corporation or company is your friend. They all have skeletons in their closets, and they all put the needs of the bottom line and their shareholders above the needs of the consumers. You do what lets you sleep well at night, and I’ll continue to buy Thermaltake products.
@@SpectraLzz to be fair cooleraster has gone bonkers with pricing in the USA so thats a rip off directly to customers.
Honestly think this is an atrocious pair of cases aesthetically. They are just so nasty. Coolermaster is a really hit and miss company IMO. The nr200 has been a huge hit. Nice and restrained. Back in the day CM were the absolute kings with the ATC/S cases - I still have my 201, all aluminium amazing case. Beautifully made and restrained aesthetics. These just look cheap to me even though they really aren’t. I guess some people will like the looks, I just think they look old fashioned and not in a good way.
No vertical mount or riser; no mirror; no LCD; front panel is fugly. Count me out.
Those cases are ugly and overpriced...
