ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man and Avengers collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself. - Zábava

100% agree with the shoulders. They bothered me immediately and are holding me back from getting these. They look absolutely fantastic when in the perfect pose though, and I absolutely love the paintwork and detail on the weapons (Dat spinning nunchuck). I'll probably just buy one to see what they're like (Leo, because he's my favorite turtle, and well, pizza). I did customize the basic Playmates turtles to give them a grungier, comic look, so having a cartoon accurate Nick Turtle wouldn't hurt. Good review, I may or may not be $60 poorer soon

Glad these guys are getting rereleased. Skipped out on them the first time because they were a little too pricey for me but I just went ahead and bit the bullet when they showed up for preorder on BBTS again.
I felt they were a bit overpriced even at $50 shipped which is what I could have got them for via pre-order from Japan. Definitely cool figures once you get them posed and positioned right though, you did a really good job posing them.
These are so amazing! I get why they are so expensive, they seem like very impressive action figures (although I've never had any action figures ever). They are beautifully designed in my opinion, but again I am not an expert haha. I am 15 and my fav turtle is Mikey and I can't wait to eventually buy him and see all of the cool poses he can do! Great video btw :)

I think the shoulders look weird too, but these are still cool! But $60? If I ever get these it'll be in 2 or 3 years when they're like 15 bucks a piece. I want these so bad to make stop motions, but I'm only 12 and I have younger siblings, so they would be broken in 2 weeks. But I'm not complaining, I have the NECA figures and I think they're 100 times better :) And my favorite turtles are Raph and Mikey because I relate to them the most.
Japanese collectors figure prices don't work like that. They get more expensive as time passes. It's because they're not mass produced and are in very limited quantities. The prices go up as the months pass. In 2 or 3 years they could be 100 bucks a piece. Trust me, I've been collecting Japanese figures for years. Just think of each figure as a SDCC exclusive. This is why many of us by two of every figure: one to keep, and one to sell 2 or 3 years later to guys buying them late.

Oh, I just said that because I saw a few Japanese figures that were really expensive a few years ago and now they're dirt cheap on Ebay, but those might be bootlegs.

These figs are so dope and so worth the price. Just seeing this review has given me an array of posing ideas. And for my favorite turtle, it has to be out of Donnie and Mikie. Although Ralph has my favorite color.

These joints are dope man. My landlord is goin to Japan so they're a bit cheaper there gonna ask if he can scoop them. They look funny in the shoulder joint area but I can live with that. I love what t u eye did with the bandanas and eyes
Still debating should I get these or not as the price is so high.
I mean I just got the original 1990 Turtles mint on card for less than I'd spend getting these guys, the pricing makes no sense.
But then they would look awesome in my collection.
If you're looking to buy one of these figures, I found some for around £30 on a website called Plaza Japan, I've looked at all the reviews, almost all of them are very good, the figures come within a week if you're in the UK and are in good condition when received!
