Court dismissed! Bring in the dancing lobsters!
Amanda show!
Cue “Louie, Louie” or whatever music they played to end the segment
You think that they would have had some of those dancing lobsters at dan schinders trial
She is often wrong about mental health issues - she dismisses people who are on psychotropic medications as being unreliable. It always rubs me the wrong way when she asks people if they are on meds. Isn’t that a good thing for their mental health?
Good point there and I completely agree. She really is quite narrow minded for stuff like that and, like you wrote there, the meds are for their benefit.
I used to watch her show every day, but I had to stop because it was getting to the point she had more bad takes than good. She clearly has biases against poor people, disabled people, mentally ill people, pitbulls, and she isn't shy about it. What irked me the most was her refusing to look at evidence or let people finish their sentences. A few times, it was clear she had already made up her mind and was actively refusing to listen to them, until they shouted over her to finish their sentence and that piece of information changed her mind. If she had just LISTENED, she would've known this important piece of information five minutes earlier. It's so frustrating to watch someone who KNOWS they're in the right (because they are) be dismissed before they can even make their case because some crotchety old lady has already decided in her own mind, without caring about the facts.
@mandy5549 "It's so frustrating to watch someone who KNOWS they're in the right (because they are) be dismissed before they can even make their case because some crotchety old lady has already decided in her own mind, without caring about the facts".
Exactly. She's so obsessed with being right and smarter than the people she talks to, she fails to see when she's clearly wrong about something. This is noticeable especially when she's talking to teenagers & young adults, another set of groups she has biases against. Plus she judges people on their appearance and doesn't want to give witnesses a chance either. I've lost count of the times I've seen her shout "Put your hand down!" or "Does it look like I need help from you?" at someone who may have something truthful to say, and then make an immature comment about the way they look. But yet still there are people who support the way she acts and her rulings, simply because of her position in life (being a judge). Smh It's a joke.
One case I didn't agree with was when someone in a camper stopped abruptly when a dog ran in front of him causing two motorcycles to collide. Obviously the bikes were not maintaining a safe following at a safe distance but Judge Judy found the camper driver responsible!!!
A few of these arent that Judge Judy is wrong, but rather she's following the law and the law is wrong. #8 for example
There is literally a type of Medical Assistance that covers working disabled people. Disabled people CAN work.
But you forget that judges and lawyers like to act like they know everything
Judge Judy can be absolutely vile and highly judgemental when it comes to the likes of disability and homelessness. Like that time she couldn't understand how someone who was working was still living in their car. She questioned him about it at least three times, she was so gobsmacked. As far as she was concerned he should have been housed.
Becuase people take advantage of being disabled as an excuse, not to work by saying oh I’ve had bad problems for 10 years that doesn’t mean you can’t work you just can’t lift over a certain amount of weight. So it seems like she seems judgmental she’s actually not.
I will say that in her later years like in her newer videos, she’s not judgmental about invisible disabilities as it seems. She got some education on it because there’s an episode where she does say something to that effect.
@@ghostdragon5735 That aspect is good to read because so often as soon as someone says "disability" and, unless it's really visible, she'll instantly change her mind against you.
She might have went too far but some ppl really do try to get sympathy by lying about homelessness or disability
@@ghostdragon5735 No they don't. Clearly you have no idea how much red tape it takes to get through the process of getting SSI, you're just as ignorant as JJ on this. You're not one of the many experts that have to generate documentation to satisfy the requirements, and even then, often a lawyer has to be hired. be quiet.
And as per usual the population of a country blames the disabled people. As a disabled person in the UK I am sick to death of people judging people with disabilities..just because he makes music doesn't mean he can work. I do a degree course from home, but there is no way I can work, I can't even get out the house does that make me a benefit scrounger? Despite having problems in the UK I am so glad I don't live in the USA, I would be homeless if JJ had her way
Navigating social security can feel like traversing a complex maze, doesn't it? It's essential to have a guide.
Judge Judy can be really classi-ist and ableist. Like she does not like it when people are on disability or social security benefits. I think she once asked a woman who just had a baby why wasn't she working because her partner was unemployed too. Essentially she's accusing people who are on benefits of being leeches and is perpetuating a bad stereotype. The whole pulling yourself up by your bootstraps American Dream doesn't work all time and can't be possible for a lot of people, especially if they were given bad starts in life or if there were other circumstances, and to have them put down and scolded on tv is just humiliating.
Completely agree 1000% On more than one occasion she's said stuff like "I pay for your benefits with my taxes" and seriously judgemental stuff like that. It's like that time she failed to comprehend how two people who were working were living in their car. 'But you work..." She just couldn't get past that.
Senile Judge Judy is often wrong. She shouldn't be trying cases about technology, animal husbandry, eBay, or so many topics brought upon by advances in technology. Stick to what she knows, from her 50 year old law degree. Dog bites, hit n run, family disputes.
Agree. She's always having Byrd explain that technical stuff to her. There's no way she can give a measured judgement over such a failure to understand those things you mention there.
@@thebigorangecouch6261 The new version of her show she now has her granddaughter explain the things to her, I have just seen a couple of clips from it and it usually means that Judy then changes her mind regarding the situation.
@@amandamandamands That's good. Shows she's in this century now. 🙂
10:07 The law is a crazy thing. If someone breaks into your home and get injured by an ‘unsafe condition’ they can sue you. This tax-prep situation is similar to cases where people have broken into publicly accessible businesses and tried to escape through emergency exits that didn’t operate correctly. Just crazy stuff. Kevin’s parents from Home Alone would’ve needed a really good law team IRL.
@zinzinnatohio>> Y DUE U CALL IT A TAX -PREP SITUATION ?
Yes. I remember watching this case and thinking I didn't like the way JJ handled it
@@bryanprince5276 Because the guy runs a tax-prep business out of his home…
Judge Judy was perfectly right in the case with the mother and bank account, as well as the two sisters and dental work, and the short dress girl. The bank account had been closed over a decade before; I couldn't tell you what I did ten days ago, let alone ten years ago. The case included details that the bank had merged with another and the account hadn't been touched in years. As a former bank teller, I can tell you firsthand that bank accounts can be electronically misplaced, put into "dead" status, etc. I will not call anyone a thief without proof and the daughter had none.
The plaintiff getting involved with the sister's ex had nothing to do with a loan for HER teeth. As far as that girl's dress, she was completely inappropriately dressed. If you won't wear it in church, don't wear it to court.
I'm not a BIG Judge Judy fan never was but oh man she's witty lol.

Since i've never seen this show in person, i can't tell. Happy saturday night, Jen. Take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well.
Still missed the "sic em!" case. A 13 year old bully trained his dog to attack neighborhood children on the command of "sic em!". Judy blamed the mother of the victim (she was doing a load of laundry when the attack happened, and is therefore at fault), while repeatedly saying "sic em" in the court while the dog went nuts!
The law can seem unfair but the mother would be technically responsible especially if the victim left the house or was attacked on the defendant's property. It's not as if the defendant's parent had agreed for the child to come over for a planned visit etc so therefore did not assume parental responsibility/adult supervision which if this was the case the defendant would be responsible. The victim's mother is responsible for the attack according to the law because she failed to ensure her child was being supervised properly by her
@@nbbim2012 The attack happened, as I recall, in the front yard of the victim's house. This means the boy brought the dog to the victims front yard and set it upon the children.
Just thinking about the episode where she refused to be educated about Ring doorbells and why it's appropriate for someone to take them when they move gives me profound second-hand embarrassment.
I’ve never understood the whole ‘Judy is holy’ concept!! 🤮
Especially since I have a chronic fracturing SPINE (keeps breaking time after time) , I can hardly walk (can’t lie down at all, so I’m sleeping in my wheelchair for 3 years now), have nonstop insane levels of pain and need high doses of painkillers to get through the day….. AND THUS I’M ON DISABILITY BENEFITS… so she definitely won’t like me!!
What, Judge Judith Sheindlin wrong? She is Judge Judy, she’s NEVER wrong!
😂😂
Welp! I didn't think it was possible...
But even judge Judy can be wrong sometimes.
Baloney!!
Between Judy and Millian the racism from Judys' end is undeniable. I've watch a lot of the shows, and a lot of the clips and it is so apparent how Judy feels about certain races.
She is wrong to say guns aren’t sentimental.
They fucking arent😂
Cuz they aren’t
It was not misogynistic of her to take issue with that outfit. If a man were dressed as revealingly, she would say the same thing (as she has done before). And as far as he’s concerned, he is sloppy not revealing. Simply because both genders have taken to wearing more and more revealing clothes outside in public doesn’t mean that a courtroom is where you should be showing leg. It is a place with standards and protocol and as much as I may be a believer in being yourself with what you wear, there should also be a version of that that can be suitable for the dress standards of places like court rooms or churches or schools. If you went to a restaurant that required jackets, you wear a jacket or you don’t go. it’s their protocol and you follow it. To their final argument, just cause they sell the clothes in an apparel store doesn’t mean all the apparel in that store is appropriate for all occasions. It is understood that in court you dress professionally and that amount of leg is not professional 4 either gender. She just happens to be the one wearing it.
You’re a court judge not a fashion judge
They’re in court. Dress like it
Yep i quite often disagree with her, she's very judgmental
Judy Sheindlin is still the only Judge ON THE PLANET I trust.
8:51 Your "gray" is showing...
Now do the opposite top 10 times judge just was absolutely right
Judge Judy’s never wrong!!!
The producer of this Judge Judy video is thoroughly showing her contempt to both Judge Judy and the defendants for her own sense of superiority!! There is No WINNER in this compilation, NOT even the viewer!! 😮😢😮
sherrill smith
Working in law made me despise this show because in reality this lady would have so many judicial complaints to the point she’d be kicked off the bench. The litigants must have to sign the tightest contract ever to be on this stupid show.
This show is considered mediation and as a part of going on the show they have to say that they won't go back and file because it has been settled (except for the couple where she tells them to go back to court).
@@amandamandamands It's arbitration, not mediation
She's awesome because she ultimately follows process not her own emotions or tendencies. She didn't get it wrong. You just don't like the decision because of Your emotions.
THANK you!
@DanielleA2023 No, there have been cases where she's made the wrong decisions out of ignorance & bias. It has nothing to do with emotions. Judges are not infallible.
