Ruyi knew that Jiang had Souxin’s best interests in his art. She was one of their strongest shippers/backers. Even helped convince Souxin he was perfect for her. I love the love story of the Imperial Physician and the Palace Maid.
Suoxin easily has the happiest ending of all the characters in the series. She's been through a lot, but she stayed loyal to Ruyi, and Ruyi thanked her by giving her a life free of danger with the man she loves.
I read somewhere that the farmland Li Yu gave to them was his due to being employed by His Majesty, and was meant to be his source of income after was too old to work and had to retire. Such was his love and respect for Souxin that he gave it up for her, because as a eunuch he couldn't give her a thing she wanted - children, so had stopped pursuing her.

@@benjiesanguir8762 instead, Ruyi found a better ally in Rongpei. She was just as outspoken as A'ruo, if not more so, but she also knew when to be humble, and she always had Ruyi's best interests at heart.
