idk if that's common in ALL latin america, but here in Brazil we also have sort of this habit of offering food a couple of times to our guests. But that's explained by the fact that we think the visitor might be too awkward to accept the food, not wanting to appear that it is taking advantage on the house's owner. So we give the visitor the opportunity again and again to get them more comfortable, idk.

Lo siento ... But I want to ask about a expression which you said before but I couldn't remember it ... The expression about finishing your meal with your family or whatever the group you are with but still sitting on the table and Keep chatting ... ?????

¡Hola Emad! Se dice 'sobremesa'. So sobremesa is the word we use in Spanish after we finish a meal which refers to the time when we're sitting around the table chatting without clearing the dishes.
