Iran’s president, foreign minister dead in helicopter crash, state TV reports

- Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, the country’s foreign minister and others were found dead Monday at the site of a helicopter crash after an hours-long search through a foggy, mountainous region in the country’s northwest, state media reported.
State TV gave no immediate cause for the crash Sunday in Iran’s East Azerbaijan province. With Raisi were Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, the governor of Iran’s East Azerbaijan province and other officials, as well as three crew members, the state-run IRNA news agency reported.
Turkish authorities early Monday released what they described as drone footage showing what appeared to be a fire in the wilderness that they “suspected to be wreckage of a helicopter.” The coordinates listed in the footage put the fire some 20 kilometres (12 miles) south of the Azerbaijan-Iranian border on the side of a steep mountain.

Иранцы приймите сердечное соболезнование от простого Русского человека.Очень жаль что Вас покинул Мудрый Умный Человек.Аварию вашего Президента смотрели в Гипнотрансе Россияне.Они рассказали что главный пилот запутался в тумане в горах.Неправильно оценил обстановку,доверился своим глазам и непосмотрел на панель приборов вертолета,что привело к фатальному исходу.А второй пилот он поздно сообразил хотел исправить но было уже поздно.Они 30 км недолетели до границы.Им надо было лететь на 171 борту вертолета.А они решили обсуждать беседу на американском вертолете,потому что там тише было...и можно было обсуждать тему спокойно.🙏🕯Аллах взял его к себе на небеса где царит свет.😞Очень жаль что он так рано ушол ,это был Умный ,Мудрый и справедливый политик ,любящий свой Народ.

A woman, state worker, dressed very similarly to the female announcer here, was violently beating an Irani woman a few months ago, just for wearing the hijab 'incorrectly'. The beaten woman was imprisoned by her, and was later killed. Somehow, my heart freezes with the news here, but not from mourning but from horror over the brutality and ugliness of religion.
The West caused all this unrest. Both because of how they divided the regions after WW1 when the Ottomans were overthrown and again during the Cold War when both sides played puppet master to try to control the areas.

China has elections. The elections are just in a one party system. So candidates have to join and be approved by the party to run. It's not that dissimilar to political parties anywhere else. Even many countries with multi-party systems have to approve of who runs for them. Despite popular belief even in western countries it's near impossible for just anyone to run for office and actually win.
You can dislike that China doesn't have a multi-party system and that's fair criticism but it does have elections.
