match going fan here - team is honestly getting better by the week. We have the occasional set backs. With a bit of luck and the media would be going crazy over how good Poch has done
agreed from another match going fan - we look like we’re gelling more and more each game. starting to play as a team instead of 11 individuals. as you said, a few minor setbacks but unfortunately they’ve been individual errors which have more often than not come from players who are only playing as the starter is out injured. only a matter of time until our key players are back and when they’re back, chelsea are.
Not sure Poch is the right guy to take us all the way to the top, but he at least deserves a second season. Think a lot of fans have been way too harsh on him tbh.

Making it to a cup final and a semi final with a team so inexperienced and young is incredible.
We’ve had so many set backs and injuries the season plus had plenty of games stolen from terrible refereeing.
The club had a complete reboot everything was stripped out and replaced.
I love what I see when this team works, give these new boys some time and give poch time. They want Poch to stay Trust them.
And keep Gallagher for god sake. Every time you sell an academy player you rip out a part of the soul of the club

Some Chelsea fans would choose the game against Everton as the best game of the season, but I think the game that was flawless in performance was against Tottenham. If Poch were to send him to the Europa League with this kind of performance in the rest of the game, there would be nothing to say even if the board decided to watch Poch for another season
Agree right there, this game against Tottenham I can't fault any of the players. Basics were done right against a team much better than Everton. And I do think the formation tweak Poch made in regards to Cucurella since after the Arsenal game could be a good thing.
It wasn't flawless though. Tottenham had a chance they didn't capitalize on. Most of the decisions to make final passes were terrible especially from Nicolas Jackson when there was a break, he constantly ran towards the left where there was a crown rather than pass into space for Palmer or Madueke. Palmer also had a break where he could have pass Nicolas Jackson through on goal, he held on to the ball. Cucurella had a chance where he could have squared the ball but hesitated and was closed down. Point is, it was a good game, but it wasn't flawless.
i wouldnt say flawless last night but he absolutely deserves to be there for another season, lots of injuries and lots of young players playing inconsistency all season, its not fair to blame all the lows this season on Poch
People forget that the battle of the bridge season 2016 when we had, , Costa, hazard, William, fabregas, matic etc, we finished 10th. Jury's still out on poch but I think maybe he needs another season to prove to us he's worthy!!

91 goals without european football. Leverkusen have 129 and plays all competitions, Liverpool ariund 115. Evwn arsenal scored their 100th against us last week. The only reason these changes happened was due to injuries. I guarantee if Enzo hadn't been injured, we'd still be implementing a 3 midfielder tactic and facing more losses. Some of those injuries have been a blessing in disguise as our substitutes have done better than some of the starting 11 in my opinion.

Let’s face the fact that Poch is doing an excellent job considering it is a brand new team with little to no experience especially playing together. Let’s also take into account the incredible injury record throughout the ENTIRE season. And then let’s look at the teams PEAK performances like against Spurs (& other matches). If they find consistency playing on that level, they will be a guaranteed top 4-6 club in the upcoming years, which is exactly where Chelsea realistically belongs.
