The compact Nuna TRIV is ready to stroll wherever you go, thanks to ultra-convenient features like a one-handed fold and one-handed car seat attachment for an instant travel system.
Weighing less than 20 pounds, the TRIV is lighter and folds significantly smaller than any other Nuna stroller-without sacrificing important features like a reversible seat, one-handed recline and adjustable footrest.
Quickly attach a Nuna infant car seat using the included ring adapter, Nuna's innovative accessory that allows you to easily connect and remove the car seat using only one hand. In a feature unique to the TRIV, the ring adapter even folds in half like the stroller does.
The TRIV folds with one hand, with the seat facing either direction, and stands when folded to allow for easy transport in the city and easy lifting into a car.
A soft, moisture-wicking merino wool seat insert can be removed to reveal a mesh seatback to let in the breeze on summertime strolls.
I have just got a nuna triv travel system and it came with joie i-snug car seat that fits perfectly in the ring adapter and it comes with a carrycot!! (I’m in the U.K.) I also think it is an amazing system! I love it!!
It's a fantastic stroller, so glad you love it! There are definitely differences between models and compatibility in the U.S. where we are located versus models available in the U.K. We can only speak to U.S. models that we carry!

We would consider the Bugaboo Bee5 to be a closer comparison to the Nuna TRIV, since it will have more storage space and a larger stroller seat compared to the Ant (an ideal compact stroller for frequent flyers), while still having a compact fold and lightweight frame. I'm wondering what the major difference is between the non-magnetic buckle and the newer Magnetec secure snap. I can't find any pictures/videos of the old one since I guess it is discontinued? Thanks.
Yes, Nuna discontinued all of their strollers with non-magnetic buckles. While the older model buckles were not difficult to use, the magnetic style found on all of Nuna's 2022 strollers is significantly easier to use while still keeping your child secured.
Hello, do you know if I can adapt an pupa bassinet on the tuna triv?
Hi Lorea, I'm afraid the Nuna TRIV is not compatible with any bassinets, and UPPAbaby bassinets can only be used on UPPAbaby strollers.
Hi ! I’m looking into getting this stroller but do you think it’s an all terrain stroller ? The wheel look rather small and I want something that’ll be good for gravel like roads or hiking.
Great question! The TRIV is not an all-terrain stroller but has great suspension and wheels for how lightweight and compact it is! For an all-terrain stroller from Nuna, take a look at the Nuna MIXX Next or Demi Grow strollers:

Hi, I’m trying to research strollers with a mesh seat option for our hot and humid weather. I see this one has that option, what other strollers that you know of have this option? Ideally, the most all terrain for lakes and hikes. Thanks!
All of Nuna's strollers have this mesh back panel feature! For strollers from Nuna with all-terrain wheels, the Demi Grow, MIXX, and TAVO are all excellent options. Another brand and model you can consider is the Cybex Mios2 which has a mesh seat back and has a similar frame style to the Nuna TRIV. I noticed that there is a 3rd color now, Cinder. How is that color compared to Caviar? Thanks!
Great question! Nuna originally released two colors, Frost (light grey) and Caviar (actually a dark grey that Nuna renamed "Cinder" recently). Nuna then released a new "Caviar" black that is solid black and has a black frame instead of silver! Cinder ( the old Caviar) is being discontinued, so there will only be Frost with silver frame, or Caviar with black frame going forward.
Hi now that there is Triv Bassinet available - is Nuna Triv 2019 model stroller (non-magnetic buckle) can be used with the new Triv Bassinet with included ring adapter?
The new TRIV bassinet will fit any year model TRIV! It won't use the ring adapter used for the PIPA car seats, but the TRIV bassinet comes with its own unique bassinet adapters you'll use to attach it to the frame.

Can it be used from birth only when using the car seat and adapter or does the seat lay flat enough to be used from birth?
Hi Meghan, great question! For a newborn, this stroller should be used with the infant car seat (compatible with the Nuna PIPA, PIPA Lite, and PIPA Lite LX). The stroller seat does not recline to a true flat position so should not be used with a newborn, we would suggest around 6 months or the age recommended by your child's physician. Thank you!
Thanks for the review! Can Nuna Triv be used from birth? I see the seat doesn't recline flat and there is no bassinet option, so I wonder if there is a cocoon option or something similar. Thanks!
Sorry, it cannot! To use the TRIV from birth you would attach one of the compatible Nuna PIPA infant car seats using the included adapter!
This was a great, compact easy folding stroller for two months. Unfortunately after about only two months of owning it the brake became jammed in the engaged position making the stroller impossible to push. The design uses a very strange bolt in the area that houses to brake so it is impossible to look inside and see if there is an easy fix. I was able to get the brake to release due to sheer luck after about 30 minutes of trying. Since the product is under warranty I contacted Nuna and they agreed to send out a replacement. The only issue I have with this process is that rather than taking my word for it they insisted I send in a video of the problem. This is a problem because it requires me to re-engage the brake rendering the stroller useless until they can send me a replacement base. I called the company to explain the situation and they were unable to make any exception to this policy which is quite unfortunate considering the price. A big bummer considering we need to use it daily. A simple google search reveals this is not an isolated incident.

Here is the information from the Nuna TRIV user manual about the storage basket weight capacity:
"To prevent a hazardous, unstable condition, do not place more than 10 lb (4.5 kg) in storage basket and never place purses, shopping bags, parcels or other items on the handle or canopy."
Hi is the Triv stroller compatible with the mixx bassinet?
Sorry, the MIXX bassinet only fits the MIXX series strollers, and Nuna does not make a bassinet for the TRIV model in the U.S. market. Thank you!

I just got this stroller. What age can my baby go into it if it’s a newborn?
The TRIV stroller seat supports babies from 6 months old and up! For a newborn, you would need to use either a Nuna PIPA series infant car seat or the TRIV bassinet (which is currently on backorder from the manufacturer). Here is a link to the Nuna PIPA series car seats:

Thank you for your feedback Breana!! Sorry, Nuna does not sell the TRIV adapter separately from the stroller, it comes with purchase of the TRIV stroller and is only compatible with this stroller. Do you need a ring adapter for the TRIV, or for a different stroller model?

I need a TRIV adapter specifically and unfortunately they don't even sell this item online on Nuna's website. If you have any tips for a mom, please let me know. Thank you
How does this compare to the Uppababy Minu?

Do the wheels turn on the nuna stroller
Hi Wendy, yes! The wheels swivel and are very easy to maneuver, and you can also lock the front wheels for added stability on rough terrain.
