Brilliant!👍 well done👍. Don’t forget that you have to read the water level between the 2 lines in the drum filter section WITHOUT the pump running i.e. when the water is at rest. Don’t alter the height of the drum unit using those marks with the pump working or it will be wrong😡. When you’re got the water between the 2 lines at rest, when you turn the pump on the water level in the filter will drop by an inch or two, this is when you set the other sensor to the right of the drum section (just next to the water level sticker) as that is set to the water level straight after a clean WITH THE PUMP RUNNING. You’ll only have to set this once as long as you don’t drop the height of you filter👍👍👍. FYI I set my drum height so that the water at rest is level with the top line. When I then turn the pumps on the sensor level (long vertical black one with another water level sticker on it) is set as high as it will go . Sounds more complicated than it is😂🤣😊. I’m sure you’ll sort it👍🈲🐟😊

How long do you set the cleaning for? 20sec ok

@@leehadfield6881 If you’re leaving the timed intervals at 20 minutes you only need the clean to last for the default 10 seconds FYI it will automatically do a 20 second clean about every 20 cleans. I have reduced my timed interval to every 30 minutes and to last for 12 seconds.👍😊 I wouldn’t set it for longer than that unless you see lots of crap coming out of the waste chute. If you want the clean to last longer there is nothing wrong with setting it to last 20 seconds other than you might be wasting a bit of water. You’ll find that a bit of trial and error is needed as the filter beds in but to be honest the factory settings are pretty spot on👍🈲🐟😊

So now you have it set up let's see if you are able to walk into the pump house without pressing the manual clean button 🤣 it never gets old no matter how long you have owned a drum 🤣.
At some point in the near future you will find (in the dirty side of the drum) koi teeth, like little white stones.
You asked yesterday about pumps and the most bang for buck (imo) is
1) flowfriend.
2) oase aquamax titanium.
3) blue eco.

Great stuff Lee looking spot on,as you say mate a bit lower when I did mine it took ages to get it spot on.
Good plan is to sit the drum on some insulation ie polystyrene to keep the heat in as you can loose a lot through concrete.

Great Video and I run the Compact M but love the L. I think you can actually add up to 85 Litres of media in the drum and I recon you might even get away with just removing the top row of blocks.

Im in pipe planning mode for oase drum and wanting to integrate my bakki which will return over a blade maybe a in wall rtn for winter.
Run the bakki on its own rtn loop and the do a loop for two other rtns ? 2 seperate pumps and maybe 2 seperate uv units ?
Thinking two wall returns with a branch to an ashp in the future .
Sctratchin my head about uv location and do i need afar end of the pond rtn or not pond will be 3m x 4m filter house is at one of the narrow ends. drum position same as your only diff skimmer on same wall that drum will be stood beside.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
