I really appreciate that you put teacher desks in the classrooms! Many of the people building classrooms for the pack don't include them but as an upcoming teacher myself I couldn't imagine not having a desk to do my planning and stuff. Even if it's not necessary for gameplay I feel that it's a nice little touch of realism.
i really didnt understand why EA didnt put any teachers desks in the classrooms, but then again, its EA 😭
This school is beyond amazing and the floor plans had me in awe. I think its so smart how you created this school and left the top floor empty. I wasnt sure about getting this pack because I just ordered Madden 23 and Nba2k 23 but after watching this amazing build I probably will lol. Thank you and have a wonderful day.

This school is going straight to my savefile! I usually build everything myself but not this time ❤ I have problems with columns sometimes too. Usually help to turn on the grid 😊

yes! so excited for this build i love that we are finally able to build a real highschool thats functional! also yes, the world seems beter put togetehr because osme of the creators thta built for this pack requested that roads go all the way up to the beginning of a lot and not just randomly cut of! i am so gratefull the sims team listend to their idea!

this is what i’ve been waiting for!!! don’t get me wrong other creators have made amazing builds as well but this aesthetic!!!!!
I feel like since it's easier to have everything on the first level you could make the top level like library space maybe just extra rooms like an art room music room, because I don't think they have classes for that in highschool so it would just make it more realistic I guess even if it's not useable maybe the rooms could be used during lunch and breaks

In Argetina we haven’t got lockers because we haven’t got classrooms for each assignment. We have a classroom for course and each curse is a year, so the diferentes teachers change the classroom and not the students. So I think that pack is very American. I don’t know how is high school in other counties.

Commenting before it's even finished so my bad if I comment more later too! But I absolutely love your attention to detail .. I love the bike covered areas!
I also live thru my sims bc my time in high-school was really rough 😔 so I totally understand. I've gone thru a couple experiences in sims that were so incredibly cathartic. 🥰
So one this im super unimpressed is of the after school activities. Like why do they focus so much on cheer and football. Why isn't there like soccer, basketball, year book, volleyball, literally so many missed opportunities. Can't wait for all the mods and cc to come! Bc obviously they carry the sims 4 at this point haha

I built my own school. But there are SOOO many good ones to save and download! I don’t know how I’m gonna choose haha.

So if you search by Origin ID name, it's RachelPedd and it's the latest build on there.
In terms of the shader, I use GShade now (you can find tutorials on how to install this on CZcams) and the preset I use is the original "Dove" preset. I hope this helps! :)

Do you have both cheats enabled? “bb.showliveeditobjects” and “bb.showhiddenobjects”. The bike shelters are in one of those ☺️

Is the High School lot tagged as Generic in the gallery for anyone else??? Im so confused
I noticed that as well, which is weird because when I was building, it was tagged as a high school. I don’t know if this is a glitch or intentional? If you place the build down from The Gallery onto this lot, the high school aspect should appear and work as normal.

The highschool pack is cool but when I saw the school I was sad it barely had anything in it.
This build took me 7-8 hours to complete. If you listen to the voiceover, I explain why I only furnished the first level. This school gives you exactly what is needed for gameplay. If I’d have included more rooms, they wouldn’t be used by the Sims during gameplay and would have merely been there for aesthetic purposes. This would cause unnecessary lag for people and I wanted this school to be gameplay-friendly.

I believe the school that came with the pack was created for gameplay in mind. I know that creators have a limited amount of items they can use so that the build is accessible for everyone. Before I bulldozed the school, I didn’t really take a good look at it, but a lot of people have said the same thing! 😅

Yes, I apologise for this, I noticed this today during my own gameplay! Turn the main food serving object around and place one tile away from the wall - This should fix it!

For most people symmetry is very aesthetically pleasing. Would be hard to construct a build that pleases absolutely everyone, but the beauty with that is you can just change it! 🤷♀️ Out of the pure skill and time it took to build this high school it's a bit weird to put so much focus on something so insignificant. What’s similar? If it’s the floor plan, there aren’t many floor plans for high schools readily available online. There’s a chance we both used a similar reference image for the floor plans. If it’s the decor, I highly doubt it, as I pretty much used my own decor style.
