Who didn't want a T/A? I new a guy who was sponsored by Skyway back in the late 80's, and by far the best colour combination was a white frame with black tuffs with gold hubs. Great build you did.
I was always a Hutch guy. But have always loved Skyways 😍 I wish the hutch Pro Star would get a release like this.

Gawd! I had a T/A when I was a teenager, but had 1.5 inch Araya spoked rims (SR sealed hubs), Tubular cranks, and Vector/Haro bars. And it had blue tires, seat, and AME grips, with white Skyway pads.
This makes me wanna buy another, SOOOO badly.
Canʻt go wrong with the Skyways but you always add that extra touch to make them stand out even more! Nicely done!

I dunno why but the red tires works with the red tuffs better then the black tires actually. Gotta say the chrome job on these Skyway frames are always top notch! Well done sir!

Absolutely sick man. I could only dream of a Skyway when I was a boy. I have a new 24 TA that I’m about to build up. Have some new Graphites to go on it as well. Just need to choose the colour of the components. I have a suede Kashimax Aero to go in it as well.

Looks killer, love that chain with the blue and the gum wall tires and the AME grips for the cool contrast they add.
With as much effort that Skyway put into that release I don't think the purchasers of that bike would've complained about an extra $30.00 to "$40.00 to get genuine AME grips and gum wall tires and a front brake in the same color as the rear.

Love my TA. Only thing for me is the rear Tuff wasn't true so swapped out the Tuffs for some nice alloys and red anno hubs.

Fun, are you going to ride it? Is it a real race frame or a replica? I don't really remember anyone in my neighborhood having a Skyway, but I kind of remember them, maybe from a magazine or something. Definately awesome, the only downside is it seems more like a replica like those cheap Mongoose Motomags whoever puts out. The old frames and parts still look so much better than the new ones, I just can't help but think that BMX could be huge again if it was done right, whatever is going on now with the official BMX doesn't do anything for me, but the old school stuff is still great.
Badass! It should have came in the box that way. I would have used red panaracer 406's though for better cruising but man im diggin it! 🤟👍 What does she weight in total now im very curious?

Very nice build. I ordered one of these in chrome/blue. Love it but the braking could use improvement. I'm 50 and weigh 185. Can you please reccommend a brake pad with better grip/ braking force? Willing to change out the Dia Comp MX-1000 also if there are better options.

Hi did you check if the brakes had spacers ? i notice on the gold skyway you couldn't get clearance from the frame

I got that gross front brake on my sunday street sweeper.. i think its because they are legally required to sell a bike with 2 brakes.

Got the exact same bike in same color way. Was so shocked to get fake AME grips on a bike that is quite highly speced out. I mean real ame's or mushrooms are like $10 ish so why nickel and dime over something so trivial. Other than that a great deal. Couldn't build it yourself for anything close to the price they were on sale for. Did you get the polished silver sprocket from Aus or usa?

I got that seat from PlanetBMX and was really disappointed it was just the standard cheap seat you can get anywhere else for like $25. Cheap skyway label and some guts and they charged me $45. Was described as a Skyway Aero seat. Ripoff.
