I stopped by Rainer's Bike Shop to get my Skyway TA BMX from 1983 back together - I came across the frame, fork and Tuff Wheels last summer by chance through a buddy in my hometown who had the bike since the 80s and kept the frame hanging on the wall for 25 years. This is the holy grail for me! The BMX I always dreamed of as a kid. ❤️ ⚡️ Not finished yet. Big props to Rainer for building it together - without his knowledge, original parts and his tools and passion it wouldn’t have been possible to do. 🙏🏻

I have a 83 skyway ta and love it it's a true classic bmx I bought mine from a family member and have had it since the 90s mine doesn't have any stickers on it has satellite rims but a great bike and I love it today as much as I did in 90s and I have had a lot of bmx and would not trade my 83 skyway for any Thang

The aluminum hubs always looked great in Skyway mags. The plastic hub they switched to looks about 1% as nice. The gold hubs with black graphite are legendary wheels. The Skyway T/A frame is probably the most beautiful frame, and fork, ever made.

I always thought these are holy grail bmx more so than the gt performer I saw one in my lifetime and we all wanted one but nobody had one except one dude who just rolled threw our neighborhood one day rode with us and never saw him or the bike again.
