1. something to cut hair (clipper, trimmer or shear)
2. something to disinfect (clipper disinfectant, barbercide, hand sanitizer)
3. something to control the hair (comb, water & brush for clipper)
4. something to protect the client (cape, astringent & towel)
5. something to pick up the hair (a broom and dustpan)
Agree or a vacuum. Old school, use on old bed sheet with the neck strips.

Marc Thomas my tools are a little different but I'm with everything you said. One thing I have to endorse though is the Dorco Prime double edge razors. Worth the few extra pennies but make sure it's "Dorco PRIME"

Do you need trimmers to do a fade? because I don’t have a trimmer
not really, if your clipper is zero gaped or cuts pretty close then it's fine, you won't get a proper bald fade, but it'll look like you got a bald fade 2 days ago. You can just start off with no guards closed

well yes and no. you need a covering. but the importance isnt in the wrapping but using a satin material to protect from cotton that sucks the moisture (damage) out of your hair.

If your cutting like your brothers hair dads hair and that type of stuff u basically only need a clipper a trimmer and a shaver

Didnt consider that a need. Can get close enough with a trimmer. But if you want to achieve a super clean look. Definitely by all means!
