    Amazing Brice! Thanks for taking the time to film and edit this and show the world the difference between poor PDR and very high level PDR. I am always in awe of your work.

    Top notch pdr tech right there. You have made me a better tech watching your videos at first I thought this finish and severity of dent repair ain't possible. But with a lot of perseverance patience and dedication it sure is possible. 👍

    Brice,
    The entire PDR industry benefits from your videos. I love the way you put these together and explain the process.
    Thank You for all you do.

    Phew! I just attempted my own PDR on my own car, big dent across a crease on my door, managed to get it up and the lower part of the door perfect to the crease, but I’m struggling with the final touches on top. After seeing this I have faith that a few more beers and afternoons I’ll get it right. It’s nowhere near as bad as what’s on this video so it’s worth a shot.

    I like to use the word "sculpt". I think it more appropriately fits the description of what we do. We are metal sculptors. We resculpt as an artist does, without damaging the very fragile paint, adding more skill to the process. I wish the industry would adopt this word as a standard description of what we do. Pass it along. You do awesome work Brice

    I'm always amazed by how people are driven by finding the cheapest price rather than quality workmanship. I find it really difficult to get involved in situations where other techs have butchered a panel.

    • @slamkeys1790
      @slamkeys1790 Před 5 lety

      That's the thing, you don't find out the tech has poor skills until after you hire them. I paid a premium price to get a couple of dents removed from a fairly new truck and got the "I couldn't get it out 100% because the metal was stretched" excuse for a very minor door ding.
      I hired the "Company" because they advertised themselves as being affiliated with a local body shop, but then found out from the tech it was just a front because they knew the owner of the shop and he agreed to let them pretend they worked there. He also told me they like doing mobile work because they could reap maximum profits without the overhead of a physical shop.
      To make matters worse, the "Company" had online reviews raving about their repairs, and calling the owner a magician, but the tech they sent out was not the one all the other customers raved about, but some other tech that was not mentioned anywhere on their site. I even called the owner and asked who this unknown tech was after the appointment was set, and he told me not to worry because he had 15 years experience. Well, experience doesn't really matter if you don't have the skills. Watch some of PDR Peterson's videos (Florida). He claims to have 22+ years of experience and I have yet to see him do a repair that was glass. I'd be willing to bet Brice has had to fix some of his work if they are located close enough to each other.

    This was my nightmare in trying to find an pdr person. Luckily I found a gentleman that has been doing this for 18 years. VERY ocd... He removed all the dents and more that I didn't even know I had on my car and I had him come back and do my wife's car. I thought he charged a very fair price and honestly this video is great showing that you really need to find someone that is qualified to do it and not just anyone that says "I can do PDR"..etc. Now my cars have zero dents and look like they did when new!

    Brice, l 've made my first comment in an earlier video of yours ( a damaged quarter panel on a challenger). Is the Mercedes hood aluminium, if so that is truly awesome. I've been a panelbeater for nearly fifty years and consider myself to be highly skilled. I would have made no attempt to rectify a previous repair as poor as that. (In the U.K we call hoods, bonnets!) Man you are THE TOP DOG!!!! I couldn't even guess the money you saved the client, over here that would have been a new (bonnet), hood, blend into the (wings),fenders, and a bill for not less than probably $4 to $5 k. Great stuff!!!

      @@cfldentrepair better late than never ! Brice, l ' ve just scrolled down the comments. You've done what no one has ever managed......not one bad comment ! Well if these comments don't give you a sense of satisfaction then you must have had a bad day!! I noticed one of your fellow pdr repairers said you should all be described in a more complimentary way . I agree. He suggested sculpt , l would suggest " Artisans " comes to mind . I think this describes skilled workers who are at the top of their game . Brice, your'e at the top of your game ! Take care and stay safe.
