It's a 1990 LTD Ford Crown Victoria powered by a 302 cubic Inch 5.0L Windsor V8, it would be more surprising if it did stop running underwater. Much stronger car than the Dodge Monaco.
@@jrburger95 Actually a small motor for that car. The Lincoln Town Car also got the Mustang 5.0. Far cry from the 390 in my '66 T-bird though, and that was the SMALL motor option.

This film is a classic and I don't care if people tell me they don't like it. Just because you throw money at a film does not guarantee it's place in cinema history. Elwood's voice changed into some cartoon voice, the underwater bit was just stupid, as well as people flying up into the sky at church. And don't get me started on that zombie scene. I can't watch this movie. The only good part by Elwood was his speech at the side of the road.

The Blues Brothers was better left as a single movie. I don't dislike this movie but it just felt like it was done more for the money than for the sake of filmmaking.

The Bluesmobile is a tank in this one obviously because it can go underwater, either that or it's a submarine.
