She absolutely crushed that, I don’t care what she says. Domino is a badass and, sure, she’s a pop drummer (which is way, way more difficult than people give it credit for), but this proved that she’s well-rounded and knows her craft. Here’s the other thing: Before I Forget wasn’t recorded to a click. Joey never used one, so there’s a part where it sounds like she’s playing behind, but that’s only because Joey upped the tempo. Me? I’d have stopped playing and gone into my bag of cuss words. That kinda stuff is impossible to predict, but nothing fazed her. The way Joey plays the bridge is like sacred to me, but the snare work she did?! Whew, incredible. I think Joey would be proud. … I’m also starting to think I’m in love.

Great video and reaction! I've watched several on Domino's Slipknot take, and appreciate your comments in the vid! Especially at the end there...I'm not musically inclined, but anyone getting into a place to publicly do something out of their comfort zone, knowing it'll go out to the masses.... This can be a difficult song to improvise on since it has those hard rhythm sections right next to melodic ones, she did awesome, she is so cute too. And you are amazing, so respectful. I think I saw in a comment somewhere that Estepario Siberiano said this song is one of the more difficult to do. Why I don't know. On a negative note, why didn't they provide her with doubles? Also I think that she defining herself as a popdrummer is limiting. All the greatest do it all because 90% of the extremists have gone trough the ranks from classes in school learning basics to extreme metal drummers like Austin, Evgeniy and Aron as the most famous (tmk) Another beast is a Norwegian Black metal drummer most famous for old Dimmu Borgir. He plays singles that sounds like doubles what speed regards
