Both platforms are necessary. I like Belllator because watching it seems like anyone with a legit love and discipline for mma can compete. UFC requires a bit more of the elite gene.
I actually like the name Bellator.. it's cool and original. Every promotion is called XX Fighting Championship.... what the fuck is a fighting championship anyways? Why isn't it called fighting league, fighting federation, fighting organization, fighting alliance etc. Your average person on the street can't even tell you what UFC stands for... whereas having one word for your company (Bellator) is a lot better in terms of building a brand. UFC is bigger than Bellator for a million other reasons besides the brand names of the two promotions.. the UFC is number one because they were literally the first company to start getting organized and pushed by billionaires when the market was completely open and unorganized. If Bellator had that stroke they would be in the number one spot today as well.

The Bellator name is definitely not a marketers wet dream. Why make it difficult on yourselves to market your name? Is the company goal only to capture hard core fight fans?

UFC really needs to get Michael Chandler in. The guy is one of the best in the division. I actually think he would destroy Conor, beat Khabib in a close match, and also beat Tony as well. At 32, the guy is still close to his physical prime but with tons of experience and a name.

Bellator vs UFC is exactly like WCW vs WWF in the 80's. I never got into WCW because the quality of cameras, editing, angles, lighting, (whatever made the visual what it was) wasn't as good as WWF. This is the same case with Bellator vs UFC. It is visually not as appealing and until they invest in the equipment to get on UFC level, it will always be a notch down even with equally matched fighters.

It would be great if there was a true world championship competition even if it was just once a year. All the club champions (i.e. UFC versus One versus Bellator vs Dream champion) would fight in a tournament to see who is the best. As it stands at the moment When Fighters aren’t allowed to fight guys from other organisations that’s all you are..... a “club champion”.
I don't know why Bellator is not having matches during International Fight Week, I can understand they don't want to ride the backs of the UFC but a Bellator Fight Night at the MGM on a Saturday 7 day's or that Thursday Before IFW Main Event would be great for the MMA Fans and for the company.
Name is good. They just need to have competitions with each other. Champions vs champions and any good match-ups. There are clearly better fighters in Bellator for certain divisions and then the same for UFC in other divisions. UFC is better at promoting.

Or the ref will just give you a foul, and out goes some amount of the bonus. And the ref has the pour and discretion to give a minor vs full penalty. As far as I know they only have 3 weight classes over this kind of derpy 9999k microdivisions. One of their biggest parts of the brand is basically what ever you weigh is what you way. They basically don't have "cut days" it's just, your weight, and they try to match you with someone with in about 5 pounds of that. Hopefully it leads to fun matches for people to be in, and to watch.,

That was basically what the early Ultimate Fighting Championships was at the PPVs UFC 1-5 or however many it was.It wasn't till the Ultimate Fighting Championships expanded past that the other orginizations and who ever was running the UFC PPV set. Mate, Woodley has improved drastically since the Rory fight(which happened in bloody 2014 btw). Rory doesn't look like he's improved at all. Wonderboy absolutely dominated his ass in his last UFC fight. Bellator vs UFC is exactly like WCW vs WWF in the 80's. I never got into WCW because the quality of cameras, editing, angles, lighting, (whatever made the visual what it was) wasn't as good as WWF. This is the same case with Bellator vs UFC. It is visually not as appealing and until they invest in the equipment to get on UFC level, it will always be a notch down even with equally matched fighters.

It would be great if there was a true world championship competition even if it was just once a year. All the club champions (i.e. UFC versus One versus Bellator vs Dream champion) would fight in a tournament to see who is the best.

I don't know why Bellator is not having matches during International Fight Week, I can understand they don't want to ride the backs of the UFC but a Bellator Fight Night at the MGM on a Saturday 7 day's or that Thursday Before IFW Main Event would be great for the MMA Fans and for the company.
Name is good. They just need to have competitions with each other. Champions vs champions and any good match-ups. There are clearly better fighters in Bellator for certain divisions and then the same for UFC in other divisions. UFC is better at promoting.

Of what I saw? fresh air! It's like a tamer pride. Much tamer. But it's finally 3 big solid circuts to watch. One: you have to keep going and can't just hug, and shrug. Or the ref will just give you a foul, and out goes some amount of the bonus. And the ref has the pour and discretion to give a minor vs full penalty. As far as I know they only have 3 weight classes over this kind of derpy 9999k microdivisions. One of their biggest parts of the brand is basically what ever you weigh is what you way. They basically don't have "cut days" it's just, your weight, and they try to match you with someone with in about 5 pounds of that. Hopefully it leads to fun matches for people to be in, and to watch.,

That was basically what the early Ultimate Fighting Championships was at the PPVs UFC 1-5 or however many it was.It wasn't till the Ultimate Fighting Championships expanded past that the other orginizations and who ever was running the UFC PPV set. Basically a lot of egos with a simillar goal. Fun Fact: one of the early tournaments has Butter Bean and Shamrock as well as a familliar Ba-Jay-Jay face. k1( or was that K7?), Bellatore, and pride I think did have a massive tournment back in the day.
