The wife and I saw him perform live 7 times over the years. Wasn’t nearly enough. Thank God for recordings and videos like this one. He will be adored and enjoyed by many generations to come.
czcams.com/video/UqWWOfSV14A/video.html Hi! I played Frank Sinatra's song "Fly Me The Moon" with guitar. If you want to listen, you can reach it via the link. Thank you..✨✨❤❤
Also, his favourite colour was orange. Which explains the undershirt and the colour of the necklace. I think even he even had his private plane coloured orange.
Frank had a long career, thus many phases to it, plus movies, of which some were very good. I like his Nelson Riddle swing period the best. Besides the feel, Frank had great phrasing of the lyrics. He had about 20 staple hits to perform in a concert. This is significant, when you consider other singers perhaps had 5 or 6 famous songs. Another thing, Frank usually recorded in 1 take. Perhaps up to 3 takes. Very emotional. Other artists can record 70 takes of a song, with all spontaneity gone, rendering a sterile recording. Frank was a smart entertainer, he played what his audience wanted to hear. If it is a good song, I never tire of listening or performing it.
One of my favorite videos of him. 1st. of all great song obviously, But he just looks like a million bucks sitting right where he was meant to be, surrounded by his musicians!
das 1988 dude, since where was he an asshole? If he was an asshole, he wouldnt have been declared chairman of the board, if he was an asshole he wouldnt have been declared one of the greatest singers of all time.
I believe that Nelson Riddle is conducting his own arrangement of Nice And Easy, which became a Sinatra signature song. Brilliant, effortless performance.
He took so many "standards" of the day and made his version the Signature song. Maybe 25 I can think of right away from Night and Day, Lady is a Tramp, Pennies from Heaven, Learning the Blues..on and on
Let's take it nice and easy It's gonna be so easy For us to fall in love Hey baby what's your hurry Relax and don't you worry We're gonna fall in love We're on the road to romance - that's safe to say But let's make all the stops along the way The problem now of course is To simply hold your horses To rush would be a crime 'Cause nice and easy does it every time
He is having a ball singing in front of this great band to this arrangement! Some people didn’t like it when Frank Sinatra dressed with love beads and collarless jackets. I think it’s swinging and groovy.
it's ironic that Sinatra dressed in a Nehru jacket and love beads, after divorcing Mia Farrow ostensibly because of their generation gap: she was enthralled by The Beatles and the Maharishi and Sinatra loved Vegas and Cole Porter.
MrImiller07 Don’t we all? The Cole Porter hit, I’ve Got You Under My Skin, with Frank and Nelson Riddle conducting is a favorite of mine. Frankie Vallie’s version has falsetto and harmonies, also good.
@@mauricioduron3193 That is Don Costa conducting the orchestra in 1968. Don Costa was music director for his 1969 special, and he co-conducted the orchestra on the 1973 "Ol' Blue Eyes Is Back" special with Gordon Jenkins

Frank, I also redeemed your son, but he has not come on my radar since he passed away. I have angels looking for him in case I am gone to my Father's house when they are finished talking to him on the other side. You will be together as soon as possible. Love to you my friend
I sang it in karaoke in a bike bar after a biker fight. I figured a 50 / 50 chance singing Sinatra gets me thrown through window. They liked it. So to calm things down, the mellow end, Nice and Easy Does It...Nice and Easy Does It....Nice and Easy Does It Every time...Like the man says, one more time...nice and easy does it, every time.....Are you hearing this fellow Americans after all this 2020 election fighting, can we take a chill pill....nice and easy does it, every time....or do I have to sing rock song, Get Over It.
He wasn't singer,he was a legend.
He was a hell of a singer, and a legend as well. One of the best of all time.
@@mikeriley154 well said sir
Well said sir
Not he was but he is. Damn
Sorry Sir; HE’S a legend!
Only Sinatra could wear that outfit and make it look good.
I'd say it was the influence of his hippie wife Mia..lol
The horror!
Franks Groovy Baby Image
I'm sorry, he looks like a jerk in this outfit.
He is masculin enough for it.
The wife and I saw him perform live 7 times over the years. Wasn’t nearly enough. Thank God for recordings and videos like this one. He will be adored and enjoyed by many generations to come.

That is MUSIC !!
We need ( really need) Singer like Frank, Dean, Sammy , Ella , Nat , Bing and so Mann other real Singer ...
This is soulfood !
When Frank died I watched this performance over and over. It's genius.
The way he delivers his lines is just pure art, the man owned the songs, he conveyed such meaning with the way he said things and his gestures.
Amazing! It's probably the first time I see Frank performing in some other outfit than a suit. :) He still looks great.
he wore that for a bet ;)
Also, his favourite colour was orange. Which explains the undershirt and the colour of the necklace.
I think even he even had his private plane coloured orange.
He loved orange
*tux
Yes Its true
I Know Frank is amazing, but lets give props to Nelson Riddle and that amazing orchestra as well!
The song was written by Alan and Marilyn Bergman, the best lyricists on the planet at the time.
Riddle was a genius at arrangements, good comment.
Frank made every song his own. Simply the best.
Frank is greatest entertainer ever. Period.

I absolutely agree. I consider that period his prime.
Ouça também Matt Monro que era exepcional
Great comment. I disagree. I believe the Basie Quincy records were the Best. That’s a great conversation to have because the styles were so unique.
Sinatra at his relaxed best vocally and with a great Nelson Riddle arrangement.
Thank
Love it really nice singers
Riddle yeah. Right.
One of my favorite videos of him. 1st. of all great song obviously, But he just looks like a million bucks sitting right where he was meant to be, surrounded by his musicians!
20th century's best they say is Elvis but I say it's this guy.
Wouldn't compare them. Like em both.
I miss my friend Mr. Frank Sinatra. He always called me The Kid.
Did you actually know Frank Sinatra??
I love this song. Thank you God for giving us Frank Sinatra!
No one will ever be old blue eyes. What a voice.
There will never be another Elvis...but Frank wasn't anything special imo...
das 1988 You are joking right. Say one person better than Frank in his genre
@@MrBernardo06 Nope not joking...plus he was an asshole ..

It was one of his signature songs... but let's not forget what he left us on his tombstone: "The Best Is Yet To Come". God Bless ole Blue Eyes.

Some people didn’t like it when Frank Sinatra dressed with love beads and collarless jackets. I think it’s swinging and groovy.
Not exactly his cup o' tea, but even Frank wasn't above trying to be current by wearing and singing things that weren't exactly classic.
it's ironic that Sinatra dressed in a Nehru jacket and love beads, after divorcing Mia Farrow ostensibly because of their generation gap: she was enthralled by The Beatles and the Maharishi and Sinatra loved Vegas and Cole Porter.

It's Don Costa conducting but it is a Nelson Riddle arrangement

Lawrence Hill and Will Dunphy
Point taken. Thank you both.
Lawrence Hill Nice to know. Good job.
It's definately not Nelson Riddle conducting, Nelson had a distinctive right hand up and down movement.
Not the most complex song, but definitely one of Sinatras best in terms of pure easy listening
Phenomenonal nobody else can ever compare 👌🎼
Forever the best.
True a good legend
One of the best songs of Frank Sinatra I've heard.
