We were blown away by the craftsmanship in this self-converted VW LT35 Luton box van. David and Heather have created the most stunning home on wheels, which they designed for themselves to live in full time...however they have had to make the tough decision to sell the van.

@@crystal8924 HOPEFULLY you'd always have the keys to the back door you😊 Besides, the "Garage" space is VERY NARROW & the average person may not even fit there with the door closed. PLUS it would take a minute to pull the back slider down so that would mean wrestling with someone which gives time to drop to the floor & roll off. Therefore, it's unlikely to get locked in by another person....

You don't do long shots it's like your ontop of what you want to show it would be nice to see from a far
I really wish you'd do more long shots slowly goin through the whole van rather than just always selectively picking close-ups of one or two things. Artsy, but not what I'm interested in when it comes to a conversion, I want to see the full end product as a whole. Attention to detail's nice but useless when you don't know the full picture.

Yep, more slow, wide angle pans all the way around are needed......artsy is only good for artists, most people here are here considering how to create or improve their habitat.
A brilliant idea, keeping the sliding barrier door in the back. Extra privacy.. security and insulation. The low key gray color... just another work vehicle... well done.
Depends how visible solar panel is on the roof, that's always a dead giveaway

Lol. I was thinking the same. I’m in NYC and my bathroom is twice that size. Same for what they said about the living room. Great build though.
I though he meant bigger than most tiny homes. Many tiny homes I've seen don't have much in the way of sitting spaces, but a few I've seen have more spacing.

I saw this some months ago and it still remains the most beautiful conversion I have seen by a long shot and I have seen seen so many. The choice of interior finishes and fabrics is truly inspired ...probably without equal. He has done a superlative job.
"Everything in the bathroom is water proofed." **Zooms in on toilet paper.** I'd absolutely forget to take that out every time I showered.

Possibly my favourite van you’ve featured, absolutely stunning...... so well made. I personally can’t get my head around not having the privacy and convenience of a shower and toilet so ticked all the boxes for me 👍🏻

Same. If I ever lived in a tiny home I’d probably shower at the gym as often as possible to reduce my water usage but nothing beats the convenience of having a nice private shower at your own place every now and again.

One of the best builds I've seen, and I've seen hours and hours of 'em. Kudos for finding a way to adapt another roll down door for use in the back.
This is a beautiful van, well crafted and thought out. The bathroom is particularly pleasing! Good sense of design and colors too.
Its a good idea if you did not talk at all and let the owner tell his tale. Too many questions, and not enough viewing time. Let the camera talk while you listen.
A common mistake being made here is... you show a tiny slice of the van, then zoom back on speaker's face. Ok, we came to see the van, not the speaker. No talking heads. All van and only van, is best. At the end, a short shot of the speaker. This would be a satisfying format.
i actually enjoyed the interviewer tbh - I think the van build is so good a lot of people would have liked to hear more from the builder. If the build hadn't been so impressive the neg comments re: the interviewing style/filming style etc probably wouldn't have been so numerous IMO. C'est la vie!

This is hands down the nicest truck conversion I've seen yet. Very simple and basic but so well designed to be functional.

I really like the look of the copper that was used in this build. The kitchen was nice and they definitely made the most out of the space they had to work with. 👍for the walk through. This build is going to sell fast :) Thanks for the tour.

I love this design. Simple and cozy. I love love the cook stove and the fire place. The copper piping work that you've done is beautiful.
Hands down, one of the cleanest conversions I've seen yet. Very clean lines and nice, bright color choices. Awesome texture and color palette all around. Nice one. And, Point Break! Awesome movie choice.
Best build yet. I love the layout though I wish more slow shots that pan the entire space were done. This is exactly how I would do my own...Congrats!!!

Oh my good gracious, that is utterly immaculate! What incredibly detailed craftsmanship. It must be the envy of professional tradesmen all over the world. Sad to have to let others use it, but hopefully theyll take care of it.

Looking at this from the outside was uncomfortable meaning the windows. Thought omg a dark box and when he went inside I was totally blown away

This van is so lovely. It looks comfy even if it is very compact. We need a concept like this here in our country because mostly we have smaller homes.

He refers to several things as being bigger than in most houses. Just curious where he lives that makes that the case? I'd expect that from apartments in some areas but was surprised to hear that so often in reference to proper houses.

I’m in a really bad spot with my health, I’ve hit rock bottom. I want to be alone to deal with my illness and living amongst bad people has made my life worse. This… this made me cry. It’s what I need to be happy…. This is my favorite of any I’ve seen!
