Summer is just around the corner! This summer, let's dance BON dance at Bon Odori!
o, I will have 4 sessions starting this week.
I would like to upload four “Newcomer Bon dance” songs that have been gaining popularity recently,
The first song is “Dancing Hero” by Yoko Oginome.
This song is popular at Bon Odori dances throughout Japan.
Practice a little at home before you go out for Bon Odori, and stand out from the others!
Let's try to dance with us.
This time, the graduates of Gonoya's elementary school Nihon buyo club (team Kasumi Sou) danced with me!
In addition, Takeru Matsushita put some cool taiko drumming on the song! (www.takeru-tai...)

Bon Odori(Bon Dance) is a traditional Japanese dance performed during Obon, a Buddhist event to honor the spirits of ancestors. Obon is generally celebrated in mid-August, but the dates may vary from region to region. Recently, it is sometimes held as a festival.
The dance involves simple, repetitive movements that are easy to follow. Participants usually form a circle around a raised platform called a yagura, where musicians and singers perform.
Traditional Japanese folk songs are used for Bon Odori music, with rhythms and melodies varying from region to region. Taiko drums are often played along with the music, providing a steady beat for the dancers.
Also, recently it has been danced to pop music and rock music
