    Congrats guys. Learning to dive is such a great life skill to have. Get certified. You will use it throughout your life and travels. Opens up so many options.

    Awesome job facing your fear, Tia! Travel is great for providing us opportunities to get out of our comfort zones and face our fears, That's something I'm learning to handle as well. :)

    I saw sharks while snorkeling off Koh Tao. There's a bay called Shark something. Give it a try. Stay safe. I worry about drowning more than sharks!

      Our dive instructor said the sharks are really docile and he agreed with you that drowning is a greater risk than shark attack

      @@OnePackWanderers 6 Months ago I was still live in Thailand. Now I moved to live in Belgium but can't wait to go visit my family and traveling around in Thailand again. That's why I like to watch you both traveling around there, it makes me feel like I do traveling with you both too. Thank you!

    First time watcher but not the last, awesome channel. This video brings back memories. I was in Koh Tao about 10 years ago, I didn't go scuba diving but did snorkelling, it was so beautiful. Keep up the good work. 🙂

It was actually my mate that came up with the channel name.....I'll never forgive him for stealing the glory on that one. I'm in Ecuador right now making videos, you ever been here?

      @@OnePackWanderers Yea, its very easy to enter right now, easier than 4 months ago when I came. Everything is open, but masks to be worn in public. Its an awesome country, and not nearly as dangerous as certain articles on the internet imply. 🙂

    Great to see that you guys had fun and had some good dives, unfortunately your instructor did breach some very strict and important rules about not taking a video and/or photo camera underwater, and either taking photos or video. This is for your safety alone!
    When that is said, I hope that you will continue with your underwater experiences and take the Open Water course, which will btw also enable you to take your camera with you and film the awesome underwater life.

    You guys have to get certified. I'm 55 and it was on my bucket list and finally became certified 18months ago. It is so addictive. I haven't seen any videos but have you dived again? Maybe if you head to Indonesia spend 3 days getting your certification there as they have the best dive spots.

      @@OnePackWanderers I was planning on obtaining my certification in Lombok but then COVID hit and ended up doing it in my home city of Perth, Western Australia. Heading back to Lombok in 9 weeks though and planning on getting in heaps of dives in the warm tropical waters. Safe travels🤍

      The iPhones, starting with the iPhone 11, are water resistant up to 6 meters. So we didn’t do anything special, just rinsed them after to get the salt off 🙂

      Yes we did 😬 It is rated for 6m of water though so it held up well

    Just to give you guys a heads up that the diving in Thailand is about a three out of 10. As you noticed most of the coral is dead and uninhabitable by sea life. The variety you saw was very minimal. You will find many better dive spots across the world including Honduras and Aruba as well as many other Caribbean places were the reefs are much better
