A six-song EP, “Live from Telefunken Soundstage,” is now available on all digital platforms via Quarto Valley Records.

About The Immediate Family
The Immediate Family (the modern iteration of a legendary studio ensemble known as “The Section”) is a rock and roll band composed of four of the most recorded, respected, and sought-after players in modern music: Danny Kortchmar (guitar and vocals), Waddy Wachtel (guitar and vocals), Leland Sklar (bass), Russ Kunkel (drums) and the addition of prominent touring, session guitarist and songwriter Steve Postell (guitar and vocals). Frequent collaborators both in the studio and on-stage, their work can be heard on albums from Jackson Browne, James Taylor, Linda Ronstadt, Stevie Nicks, Keith Richards, Warren Zevon, Graham Nash, Neil Young, David Crosby, and many, many, many more. Kortchmar, Sklar, and Kunkel have worked together since the early 70s and made up three-quarters of The Section, best known for both their studio and live work in support of some of the top-selling singer/songwriters and solo singers in the history of music, as well as their own acclaimed instrumental albums. I was lucky enough to attend this. The sound was first class, top notch. The mix of the fender and magnatone amps had the perfect balance. The performance was just as good. I watched in awe. Well done, gents. You guys rock.

Great music. Unfortunately interrupted by some so-called "Patriot" (read right-wing nut job in camo) complaining about how the government is after him. I wonder if the host of this page has any idea or say so about what kinds of ads get run in the middle of their videos.
Fantastic musicians, fantastic music but a very bad, liveless sound. I think, it's taken direct from the desk with no room hall, delay or anything.
The singers voices have no EQ-ing and the guitars etc. are mixed down direct from the line out without speakers.
So this is what it sounds, it can be way more brilliant an better...
