    I just don't have words how angamardana and Surya kriya has changed me. I was very weak both physically & mentally. But now after investing around 2 years in hath yoga I m able to run marathons, do gym, I only need 3-4 hours of sleep, I never feels lethargic. Mentally I am able to focus on what ever task I want to do without any effort. In short I can say my life has become effortless. This is truly magic
    Thanks Sadguru my this new life is truly indebted to u. Also thanks to Durva Anna as I learned Surya kriya from him.

    Namaskaram. Very beautifully explained, Anna. I am 65 + and I have been doing Bhuta Shuddhi, Surya Kriya and Yogasanas regularly since the last 3 years. They are an addiction for me. When for some reason I miss doing them, I keep feeling restless. And it is due to the regular practice of these that I went through Samyama effortlessly. Both, my body and my energy levels are Rocking😁 literally!!! I'm so very very grateful to Sadhguru. 🙏🙏🙏

      I am also started learning this, but want to know if I am not able to any one day, is this ok to be restless ?? If it is for benefit of us then why without one day practice it's restless..

    • @thatrandomguy712
      @thatrandomguy712 Před 2 lety +2

      @@SANSCORP9 I think the "restless" is simply because the system isn't as settled/energized on that particular day. If you're yet to do the practices then you're probably more restless than what you'd be after regularly practicing them and skipping a day. The idea isn't so much that they're bad for you and therefore you end up in a negative state without them; it's that they're so good that missing them is unpleasant.

    Another concise and well explained video. I do IE , ISHA Kriya and upa yoga every day. IE has started to transform me. I start the day with a neem and turmeric ball and then a sanjeveeni isha health drink. My eating has changed out of all recognition. I eat 1 sometimes 2 meals a day as well as fruits. I have went from a problem to a solution. Small realisations happening quite a lot. I think I’m slowly geTting a bit of distance between my mind and body. It’s funny how I used to listen to Sadhguru and think yes that’s right but….. Now I get things but not from my intellect, a deeper knowing which is fantastic. I’m away to learn surya kriya and butta shudhi this month so very excited to hear your comments as I think it’s exactly what I need for my progression for lack of a better word! Keep up the great work,I live in Scotland so as we say here hope yer deeing bra (hope your doing well)

I also know shambavi and have been doing that for about 3.5 years now. Is this okay that I alternate my hatha yoga practices depending on the time I have, or would it be best to stick to doing one of them consistently for a stretch and then doing the other for a stretch of time? This is something if have been curious about for a while. Surya kriya is certainly my favorite hata practice! So incredible the state it puts you into! It's like effortless arrow focus 🙏

    • @theyogispod
      @theyogispod  Před 4 lety +3

      Once you have learnt Angamardana it is recommended that you do the practice once everyday for a mandala, a period of 48 days. If you want to do both the practices together, you will do Angamardana first then Yogasanas. If that is not possible for you, doing each practice on alternate days can also work. But it is better you clarify this with the teacher you learn the practice from in person as they will be able to better assess your situation and needs.

    I'm attracted to surya kriya. Agamanthana, and yogasanas. I however have minimal yoga experience. I'm interested in choosing just ONE that I can actually do. I have a lot of anxiety and stress, terrible back pain, and my hamstrings really hurt, so it's hard to sit in a cross-legged position. My mind is also crazy loud and really unsupportive. Yogasanas sounds great, and so does agamanthana. Honestly, I don't know if I have the flexibility to do something like this though. Is surya kriya a better place to start if you have zero experience? I'm especially interested in yoga because my posture is really off in life, and I can't sit, stand, bend, or even really sleep without being uncomfortable. I'm 36 years old and slim. Any recommendations? I just want to start with one for now but I want to start with the easiest (just like weight lifting -- you start low, and add weight later).
    I'm caught between these 3 -- surya kriya, agamanthana, and yogasanas. I know there's a commitment part that probably the most important. I get that. I'm just trying to pick one for now. I don't exercise a lot and I'm definitely not very active, so this puts me off from agamanthana, although I want to be -- some day, and so its a connundrum (i want to, but maybe i dont have the foundation?). Is surya kriya maybe a good first step into all the others? I also have a really hard time focusing/concentrating, as well as posture challenges. Spitituality -- and having the ability to step into deeper levels of that area, as well as sit for longer periods of time -- is something im also interesteD in. I've done inner engineering byw and it was great. I've done upa yoga -- on and off -- for some time now. What's the next progressional step after upa yoga?

      I cannot give you an accurate answer without really understanding the exact issue you have. But if practicing Surya Kriya is helping. Then you can consider learning Surya Shakti. It will address the physical aspects more, like strengthening the back muscles, amongst other things. Even a practice like Yoga Namaskar can help a lot. You can learn it online. Link is in the description. We are also teaching it in our online programs. You can follow our studio Delhi School of Yoga for more details if you are interested.

      Thank you so much. Do check out my other videos as well, might be of your interest.
      I recommend you either consider learning an Isha Hatha yoga practice, you can check the link in description to find a teacher near you. Or you can also go for the Inner Engineering program.

      Yes absolutely. I have seen people with issues as severe as scoliosis getting better with Isha Hatha Yoga.

      @@theyogispod Yes I have scoliosis and my whole right side of my body is completely distorted. But I live in Patna and there is no Isha Hatha yoga teacher here. Even the two Isha Hatha yoga teachers in Bihar are from far away districts. Can you guide me where should I go? Well, my Bua lives in Delhi, in Palam.
