Thanks for this video! I needed to see your video, in order to switch my keycaps for the first time. I got the Razer white set, and it's a world of difference from the stock ABS that I've been using. I have Cherry MX blue switches and the difference in sound alone is amazing, and the texture of my Razer set of keycaps is Great! Thanks for suggesting the "One at a time" method, that's how I did it, after I watched your video. I found out that my Drevo Blademaster TE came w/lubed stabilizers in the process of changing the keycaps, I'm addicted to PBT now! Thank you again!
What version of the Razer keyboard did you get? Not the colour like what's it called cause I've been meaning to find one that I can actually change the keycaps

Thanks for the information. I have a keyboard given to me, a fancy gamer one, and the W key is dead. Problem is all of the hidden screw to get it apart. Not knowing the keys pop off I was stumped. An needed to see under the keys, to find more hidden screws. Not anymore... The keys pop off. I never had one of these before so I did not know.

I tried removing the space bar but it doesn't come out, instead, the plastic key remover kept slipping and leaving marks on the space bar. my switches are outemu blues, I don't know if it makes a difference.

im using an HP keyboard and it turns out the longer keycaps that used stabilizer is incompatible with the keycaps that i bought. is there a hack to troubleshoot it :(

Yes you can. Abs and pbt are the type of plastic. Make sure they are compatible with your switches though. If they are cherry mx compatible they fit on gaterons and many other cherry clones

Hi, I have a question. I used a wire keycap puller to remove my GMK set. However, no matter how gentle I pulled or wiggled the keys while pulling, there were always indents on the bottom of the keys. Any technique to avoid this? Thank you!

the wiring is underneath the switches so its fine if u do it, also i got membrane kb, and i cant change switches :/

Search for the percent of the keyboard like mine is a 60% keyboard search up if it is your keyboard percentage keycaps

Any switches with a cross-shaped stem, which is pretty much all mechanical switches

I am looking at doing what you did on this video but for the Keychron K4. Your K4 review does show you replaced most keys with the pink Razers as well but not sure if you left the rest just because you liked it that way or because of size incompatibilities. Which Keychron keys will NOT be replaceable by the Razers because of size difference?

i want to buy pink one .. but some videos says bleeding is to much in night. so much that you are left with just green or pink keyboard.
Update: felling good and looks really nice. But you can only use red backlight rest all colours looks green. Buy white one for rgb effects , i like single static colour so its perfect for me.

Where did you get the pullers?
All that ranting and no mention of the different types close up of some would’ve been gold... key caps are not universal, and I learned the hard way.
No instructions on how to actually remove the key caps. Very poor video.. keep searching. This video isn’t it
worst advice ever ! If you want to got nice PBT keycaps with full scratches, use this method !
Indeed, it's pretty bad to use this kind of puller as it'll get all your keycaps scratched. I'm using a plastic-coated wire instead and it works perfectly.

So in amazon I picked keycaps, (60% PBT Keycaps Set Sakura Japanese Korean OEM for MX Switches Mechanical Keyboard ANSI Layout GH60 RK61/ALT61/Annie/poker GK61 GK64 Ducky one 2 Mini (Keycaps Only) (Korean) is the name on amazon)
So do I have to buy the keyboard and replace the keycaps? And in the name, theres a lot of keyboard names kike “GH60, RK61” are they all the same sized keyboard?
