My beautiful wife died 5 years ago and I can truly identify with this song. I am 77 years old and this is the "real" music of my generation...
I love doo wop music, can't get enough of it and, I am 72 years old. This version is as good as any recorded.
I'm 77, so much good music from late 50's 'til mid 60's.
Harmony Street are a real class act
When I hear music like this I am sent back to a coffee shop called Roundy's where we;d smoke and have a cup of joe before goiing across the street to our high school. It was the Best of Times.
No group can duplicate the Skyliners sound, but Harmony Street comes darn close!! Great lead vocal, tight harmonies, and an excellent arrangement. WELL DONE!!
This is what being in the world is really all about; Hearing something as wonderful as this.

As a doowop-phile and still-singing doowopper in my mid-70's I don't think much of having 3 female vocalists in the background of quintet having a male lead and bass, but Harmony Street's immense talent makes this vocal group work effectively at emoting the essence of this golden oldie. Kudos to Mike Miller, et al.
Hopefully the best is yet to come...musical groups of the last century and Beyond.....2020.....what a Heartbeat in time....ase

Great rendition of one of the all-time great songs!! This is the best music of all time, in my opinion, and Harmony Street does a great job in sounding just like the original records. I'm sure Jimmy Beaumont is very flattered to have this great group recreating the fabulous sounds of the Skyliners !!

One of my best from the Skyliners. I did this song with may group many times. I waited to hear male highs they were just right on the nose. Great vocal on lead part. Harmonies excellent as always. One thing though you do have 3 women in the group I am sure one of them can do Janet's high notes at the end and the ultimate high C note. I had an 18 year girl in the group who was able to sustain the note for 4 sec. when she put her hands down the song ended. Don't get me wrong it was nicely done.

Nice job, Mike. I used to perform this one, but had to make some concessions. The last time I could hit notes like those, my voice was still cracking! And like one of your posters says "God, I miss us".
