Hello from the Amalfi Coast!
Italy holds such a special place in my heart, it's a place I could visit a million times and always see or experience something new every single time. This was by far my favorite destination of all of my European travel adventures this past fall. It was our very last stop on our trip, and I am so glad it was.. we truly saved the best for last here!
Amalfi Coast has always been a dream bucket list place of mine for so long, and I promised myself I would go before 2023. Let me tell you all about getting to the Amalfi Coast if you haven't been yet and would like to go, from my own experience! We first came from Nice, France (if you haven't seen my earlier CZcams vlogs traveling France I would check them out!) and we then flew into Naples, Italy. Naples is the nearest and biggest destination to get to and from the Amalfi Coast! Naples is definitely not a place to spend a lot of your time in as it's pretty dirty, chaotic, and crime heavy.. but if you're all about that then hey, you do you!! From Naples, we took a ferry boat to Positano, Amalfi Coast from the main port in Naples. I highly recommend taking the "fast ferry" if you tend to get sea sick or motion sickness (trust me). We spent the first couple of days in Positano and then from Positano took another ferry to the island of Capri! Both of these places were absolutely stunning and had so much to do. However, they are smaller destinations so I definitely recommend going during a slower season to avoid lots of tourists and people.
