Mr. Ian Gordon has me addicted to Horror Babble.
I don't even have to close my eyes to be able to "see" what's going on in the story. I come back time and time again. Such a joy to be able to hear stories told so well. I really miss being able to read for myself but now I can hear almost all my favorites and some great new authors.
    Thank You for being.

Great as always ! Myths of flesh to stone mixtures go back to early China, royal alchemists supposedly had worked out something while trying to find the 'live forever' stuff the emperor wanted, gun powder being discovered along the way. According to legend one alchemist tried one formula and turned himself to stone, oops. No doubt he did something and died and royal scribes took literary license if the tale has any basis in fact. Keep up the good work across the pond.

Hey again Veronica! We are indeed planning to record The Haunter of the Dark - it's part of a larger Cthulhu Mythos series we are working on. We haven't yet assigned a narrator, but I'm sure Jennifer would be thrilled to tackle it! Might be a while before we get to it though, as there are a number of other earlier (and lengthy) entries in the series to produce. Thanks again for the kind words! Ian & Jen

Your narrative skills never cease to amaze me. You were an entirely competent narrator of great skill in this sample; but in the last year or two you've fully conceived a narrative voice that's totally unique from your speaking voice AND entirely consistent through out all of your more modern recordings. I spend an inordinate amount of time listening to stories via you and your wife and the differences, while sometimes subtle, are entirely recognizable for you both. I'm very proud to call this my favorite channel on CZcams and I think it's wonderful that you and your partner are both so talented. It's a wonderful thing to share your work passion with your your beloved (not to mention she's SO damn talented).
Well, guys, this is my long-winded way of stating my utmost appreciation for the stories you've exposed me to and the exemplary way in which you've delivered them.
PS I proudly wear my putty girl t shirt regularly! It never fails to get a comment...😄

Prior to finding your channel my girl and I spent every night listening to old time radio, specifically E.G. Marshall's Mystery Theater. Some of my favorite pieces of radio suspense/horror came from that program.
I REALLY enjoy when HB conceives a story in radio drama style although I'm sure it's an incredible amount of work. Nonetheless, I would love to hear more if you can take the extra time!
