If someone wants to know the true range of EVs, I would recommend you to have 5 adult passengers in the car and test it. Weight is also a key factor for range test. I haven't seen anyone or any EV manufacturers giving range capacity with full weight.

Guys, speak about resale value of EV cars, speak on problems on ev, charging cycle of battery, we should know that ev cars actually pollute more than normal cars as in india 70% of electricity is produced by burning coal. Also lithium battery production affects many low economy countries.

Boot and paddle pe pura wiring exposed hai and even chrome not aligned
Its a design feature. 😂 all the electric and electric related parts come from china, only body is made here so fitment issue is known. they try to minimize it but this happens at many edges, panels.
One of major drawback of Tata was IC engine but now they can have a brand new start in EV engine
ev is already there, this is second time the car is launched, earlier it was flop.
I will move to EV after 2025, tab tak bahut saare charging station bhi aa jayenge plus achhe range wale gaadi bhi aa jayenge, aur price mein bhi competition badh jayega toh ache option available honge market mein...

Tata should have given same 30Kw battery pack of Nexon Ev with this car to get real milage of 300km with this Ev, then price of 12 lakhs is justified.

Range will stick you to travel around 100-150 km from your home. We have to think twice before take out electric vehical for long journey. If battery technology improves then new trend in india is e-vehical
There are charging stations that take 1 hour to charge while you dine.
Its fully sensible choice if particularly for urban use . On highway genrally EVs are not that much efficient

Efficency of EV are almost same (slightly better) with respect to Petrol/Diesel car
BUT
On city/traffic
EV is more efficent with respect to petrol/diesel car
Due to technical limitation efficiency of Petrol/diesel get drop in urban drive, where EV perform better
Reason: economical band
for Petrol engine is between 1500 - 2500 rpm,
for diesel engine is between 1500 - 2000 rpm,
For Electric car is start from Zero to 5000 rpm
City ride->frequent brakings (not completly possible to maintain economy for petrol/diesel car )and 1-10 seconds halts (engine is idle, where at Zero rpm Electric motor power consumption is less than 0.002%, practicaly zero)
So a EV with single gear transmission provides better efficiency in city drive and same efficiency as petrol diesel car, which is just opposite behaviour
So it give an impression that EV are less efficent On highway

I think its possible..
Battery swapping technology, more 15 years once we earn the returns invested on this technology, in bike already battery swapping technology started. And fast charge where from home you can charge today ev bike in 2 hrs - 120kms range. Same will come in car in nxt 10/15 years. Fast charge + battery swapping technology.
Electric cars are the future..but when the competition increases price will definitely decrease and Price will come around 6.5 to 7.5 lakhs in 2 to 3 years from now.

India’s GDP/Capita is 2000$ , unless companies come out with EV’s between 5-10L range it’s not going to put a dent in the sales as compared to Petrol/Diesel/CNG cars.

Currently tata Nexon Ev have fast charging issue and isme bhi hoga mostly because same hi hai sab motor power figures and batteries capacity chodke. Agar fast charging se issues aate hai to Matlab hi nahi fast charging system ka above 150-200 one side kahi ja nahi sakte.
Fast charging time aur kam hona chahia, 1 hour for 80% is too much. Every 150-200km ke bad 1-1:30 hour ka break aapki journey time aur badha rahi hai.
For only city use car ke lia Acha option hai but still pricey.
I think CNG cars are currently better pocket friendly options as a all-rounder over ev and fuel vehicles.
We all know ev is future but not a good choice now when it's under development phase, not everyone can risk above 10lac.

My usage is 5k kms per year. In my case i can buy Tigor Top variant petrol and use it for 8 years still save a lot of money than buying this 15 lakh EV. I will wait for 2 years more before buying EV.
5k km is nothing. He said in first statement if u have city driving of 3-4 k per month its best. It can save upto 25 thousand per month.
