  • ‘It’s absolutely in the Conservatives’ interests to form a coalition with Reform UK - but do they deserve it? Absolutely not...
Why on Earth do they deserve to make a pact to boost their electoral hopes when they’ve had 14 years in charge and done bugger all?’
Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg has suggested that the Conservatives and Reform UK should form an alliance or coalition at the next election in order to guarantee a right-wing win for the country, and keep Keir Starmer out of government.

@@neuralwarp I’m sure you’ve heard the term “divide and conquer”. While good intentioned Westerners are protesting the “latest noble cause” their own country is falling apart. The vast majority of these protests are students and young people who are going to be saddled with the biggest debt burden in living memory, spiralling rents due to lack of housing and a cost of living that is way above their “average wage”. I believe peoples anger and frustrations should be directed a lot closer to home not some geo-political cause that will not change anything other than embolden those with bad intentions. Therefore, I do not subscribe to “this camp or that camp” mentality and look at any given situation objectively, but more importantly who are the people who are benefiting.

We would have been sure to have another flashpoint leading to a further leave campaign- due to, take your pick, ridiculous EU policies, insane corruption, disrespect for national democracy, the unelected and immovable Commission, the fact the whole system is backwards (Where else does the civil service branch propose legislation leaving the elected parliament to just rubberstamp), the mismatch between our Anglo Saxon mindset and the predominant continental views...but otherwise it's all Hunky Dory...
