You know you're watching an old telecast when freaking MSN is the sponsor of a title.

One thing I've always found strange about the past Tuscon open telecasts, is that the first shot made on either lane causes the pinsetter itself to come down VERY quickly right after the rake comes down. Then it stops afterward for the rest of the game, but seems to start again during the start of the next match (for the most part). I don't think I've seen that happen at any other bowling center anywhere, at least from what I've seen on TV.

Interesting observation. I wonder if they set the pinspotters to first ball only for the warmup shots before the show and in between matches and that has something to do with it. Not really sure if that makes sense or not.

The 1st, 2nd, and Title matches of the MSN Open had fantastic finishes.

Interesting question. I never thought about that. I would guess it is the same for all shots, but I don’t know for sure.

EnigmaZero, Are you planning to upload the last 4 events from the 2000 Season on the Pba Tour? Also, It was a fantastic finish in the Title match between Norm Duke and Chris Barnes.

Chris Barnes, biggest choke artist on the tour. Unless he front runs the entire game,he always found a way to lose.

To be fair he had one bad shot the whole game (the one he threw in the moat) everything else was good. Carries that 7 pin he likely would've won it.
