Love that Boldy is finally getting his spotlight in recent years.
Price of tea in china is one of the best albums in the last 5 years
Facts
@@roberthorry621he's got like 5 of those
I think he has the most vivid drug/dealing bars out of any rapper. He fits any production style, wether is drumless soul, grimy boombap, trap, any beat he can ride it.
He has the most cohesive and well made albums compared other rappers in this lane, he doesnt have any album post 2019 i consider even close to mid. I'm always impressed how he can come up with so many clever rhyme schemes and bars releasing 4 albums a year(50+ songs)
Honestly he's in my top 5 OAT. Generational talent
Your spot on
You worded that just right. I haven't heard anybody as smooth since black sheep!
Manger on McNichols is a 10/10
His verse on
Valid’s Foreign Forever
is truly the chefs kiss!
So much brilliant word play. Detroit 4eva!
I’m obsessed with him. 😊
And now all I do is research Detroit drug dealers & kingpins.
i saw this dude last year with earl action bronson alchemist as his dj dude rapped on the instrumentals without stumbling once and every project i hear he’s getting better and better
I have not been listening the Boldy for long but his style, and the entirety of Griselda, has grown on me
Love this piece! Boldy and Roc are my favorite active MCs
I would love to see WTK and Bo J do a collabo with Roc Marci production 🤯
So well spoken 👑
First ever time I heard Boldy was on the Fat Raps Remix with Big Sean back in the day. Crazy to think about but I’m glad the dude is finally getting his respect
Great video, but you missed an important fact about Manger; the fact it’s a masterpiece that Toles and Boldy have been working on for 10 or so years.
Great call! Makes that album even more special
💯 I heard some of the original songs
Detroit needs to show Boldy some love man
Damn didn't know we share a bday with the Legend. Love Boldy. You did justice to him in this video
Dope vid. Boldy is nice. It's dope that he's honoring his friend, blowing up, name known.
Boldy at the top🥀🥀🥀
Cartier off the Versace tape is EXTREMELY underrated please check that out
Trappers Alley mixtape/album classic start to a amazing discography every Alchemist project is immaculate wit that cold slow flow ''i sell u uncut Heroin ..or them psychotropics like Seroquel''
he has a podcast episode on a podcast called Cipher. you need to find it on thier website. It was sampled in Mommy Dearest
Boldy talks about his upbringing. Moving out at 10, having family who were cops and thats how he first got access to cocaine. Not everything in rap is true, and its okay for artists to play characters. However its nice to see someone authentic and with a hard start in life find success like this.
(Of course he couldve made that stuff up, I dont know the guy)
Boldy is killing it
DEF Forever
I like Fair Exchange more than other album/ep. I really fucc wit that type of beats
That’s high on my list too, Cravens beats always hit me in my soul
As an Italian, I feel compelled to tell you about Cuns, which is indeed an Italian producer (precisely from Rome). In addition to collaborating with Boldy James last year, he dropped other collaborations with American artists (Conway, Benny, Crimeapple and others). He is also a collaborator of MxRxGxA, the dopest Italian underground collective of the last years.
Curren$y introduced me to Boldy on No Yeast. Dude is the truth

Peace from California! ✌🏽
Ahhh yesss can’t wait to watch in about an hour after some errands
Edit: great video really enjoyed it… I Hope to see a potential Mickey Diamond/Umbrella Collective video in the future!
Pro Dillinger is so fire. The Umbrella are slowly getting more recognition and I love it.
Let’s Go 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Bout to see him and Alc in cologne in 5 days. Never been hyped more
Great history to know. Appreciate this video 😌
Dope content
Bo Jackson is one of the dopest albums of our era of hip hop but then again uncle Al doesn't really make anything less than fire so boldy was just the perfect pairing.
It's time! 👑
a real one them bars be detailed for a reason
Real Hip Hop 💎👍🏾
Absolutely love this dude 😎
What a great video narrating Boldy's journey up to this point, and an even greater honour to be a part of it. 🙏
Thanks again for the beats! Links are in the video description!!

great video, thank you for this
Thanks for watching!
Great video, anyone curious about Boldy's work check out the song power nap, that's the first track I heard and I've been hooked ever since.
Whole album is great
great video bro! I always find unknown gems when you visit an artist’s catalogue🙌🏽🔥
🙌
Boldly James has one of the craziest drop rates I’ve ever seen, so glad to see you make this video! Only other artists I know dropping emcee quality this often is Droog, CRIMEAPPLE, fahim, Mach, RJ Payne, and respective Michigander BONES. Still Boldly has a claim as the best.

Can you do Ransom
I was a boldy fan long before he signed with griselda. But with that being said I think they are perfect match. Not necessarily sonically but I'm a huge Griselda fan and what they bring to music they break the mold I mean there's older dudes and Hip-Hop still doing it but it's hard to stay relevant without having the old head title put on them. It's great to see guys around my age staying relevant in today's hip-hop. Because there was a time where I really thought hip-hop was on life support. And to be honest there's still a lot of it currently. What I would have considered mid or mediocre in the 90s people try to convince me that some of these guys are the greatest? Don't get me wrong there's plenty of very talented artists out there. But I feel it's a lot less about lyrical ability and more about marketability. Like who they're dating or what they are doing on social media is bigger than the art they're actually putting out. I'm not saying it's wrong it's just not necessarily for me. guys like boldy, the Griselda camp, fahim,Mach- hommy ect. continue to give me hope that hip hop is still alive and well. Great job Def im rocking with what you do and ill continue to look for your content❤️
What beat was that on the early life section ?
Boldy, Mach and a earl are my favorite rappers
Shit u never miss! Great video
Thank you!
you know how I feel about Boldy James lmao, great video!
Thanks man! Your video on Manger is phenomenal imo, more extensive than anything I’ve made

SALUTE TO BOLDY
PEACE PEACE
Great content man. Would be great if you could do one covering KXNG Crooked - highly underrated MC with tons of frequent fire drops. Thank me later 🙏
Wondering if you’d ever make a Despot video? He’s like the greatest rapper to never drop an album imo
Love the content btw
He’s not on the radar coming up but I’m definitely not opposed to covering him in the future
Saw him perform in feb2020 with Griselda, Ngl I didn’t even know who he was at the time i was there for Benny but ever since then I’ve been up on his music 🔥
hot water tank
Diggedy Dooope ✨🙌
