even though it was only the first year of universe mode in wwe game, it's still better than current universe modes. tried customising my own universe mode in 2k23 a few weeks ago, but with the new divisions feature u can't have the same superstars in each division so u can't have double or multi-title champions. was very disappointed. I know you could do this in older wwe games though, like have ur CAW on both brands and could go for every title, much more enjoyable. Thank for the upload btw!
You can sorta cheat it out. Everyone can only be in 1 division per show, so I'll either have shows share titles and put certs people on both rosters like tag teams.
Completely agree, 12 as an overall game was the weakest imo (partly due to the roster irl and downgraded weapon physics) but that universe mode was nearly perfectly
A well done universe mode would play similar to HCTP season mode, where longer and shorter term storylines will play into the experience throughout the calendar.

A svr 2011 channel is the best news I heard all day!
I believe THQ’s Dan Ryan was the designer behind Universe mode. He also was design lead on the DS SVR that was similar to No Mercy.
i kinda loved how different but kinda enjoyable the DS versions of 09 and 10 were, even if they were tecnically inferior in some aspects
I remember as a child spending hours everyday playing in universe mode of smackdown vs raw 2011 and doing all the story modes as well. Nice video.
Trip down memory lane. Spent so many hrs on this game. My Ps2 and ps3 were a SvR machine at one point. Good times for sure.
You know SvR 2011 was a great game, when a whole channel has to be made about it. 👍

WWE 12's for me! It just flowed so well, crazy storylines, and just so much fun to play!

I didn’t even know SvR 2010 had a Universe Mode
Just to clear it up, it didn't have a Universe Mode, but it was more that it was laying those foundational bricks that became Universe in SVR11.
