I have the 88 key version of the Triton Le but I had to buy this 61 key version, complete with faults as shown, for a mere $AU100. Happy customer here - check out these amazing tones!

Totally agree. It's still ahead of its time, even 20 years after its release.

My brother has the Triton LE and I got a M1 musicstation. Each is different yet how much the same.

I found the Triton and M1 to be quite different in their approach to sound. Both superb, of course!

Planning to buy this in a pretty good price and have some questions! First of all I use the triton vst and I know how it works pretty much.
    A) Are the presets targeted by category? (keybaords, organs, leads etc)
    B) How easy are patch changes on the fly? Can you basicaly categorize banks as songs and change presets with the number buttons?
    G) If so , can a bank contain both prog and combi presets?

Yep I think with a bit of work you could do that. The separation of those sounds can't be automated though. Glad you liked my video :)

You can try to clean the front panel contacts

Considered doing that but I think the problem is at the electronic level. Just sold it to a technician :) GF

Had the same issue, not a simple clean. All the tactile switches needed replacing, which was easy enough with basic soldering skills, time consuming though there’s at least 40!

Hi Gear facts. On 5/29/23 I purchased a Korg Triton LE for 225 USD here in the USA and its mint condition with no flaws at all. Use it for its sounds not functions. Greats it plays awesome and i have the cover and case for it. Along side a free Korg BX-3 digital also minty. Its been HX3 modded with the module kit built into it. Not Korg at all.Sounds B3 andA100 and C and T series mixed. It has 1,900 different drawbar combos leslies all digital tho.

$US225 sounds like great deal for a Triton in such good condition. Dare I ask: Does it have the SMPL sample board inside it?

how can I fix one key that gets a little stuck when played and eventually comes back to normal position? I have cleaned it carefully and blowed air into it. Its a Korg 01/W fd

    • @gearfacts
      @gearfacts  Před 5 lety +1

I think you'll have to open it up and have a look inside. There must be something stuck right up the back of the key assembly /GF

Probably the little metal piece that's supposed to give it the spring action. Kind of a hassle to change out.

Looking for Triton Le or Yamaha mm8 for having at home for my kids. Seen both your videos in the two. Which would you rather have?
Mm8 have piano keys, might be plus?. Other than that I’m not sure, can’t test them myself before buy.
