Man brian you keep me getting closer and closer to bite the bullet and get the ape lab light kits.Again thank you for the wealth of knowledge and experimenting with things.
Jonathan Gonzalez You’ll never regret it man, I’m two years deep and I don’t think I could ever go back. In fact, I know it. Pricey, but everything you want it to be, it is.
So hey Brian while I've argued about price but never about the quality I figured you'd be happy to know I gave up and order a starter Ape Labs light setup of 4 fixtures. Cheers
Hey Brian. Do you think 2 of these cans mounted to the sides of speakers could cover a 5 piece band with some lighting? I use old par lights but create a super hot spot where they’re pointed to.
Could you attach them to the side of an Eliminator MBSK and point the cans at a mirror ball? I’ve done that with clamps and ApeIight Minis, and it’s a nice effect, but the Mini’s lens isn’t a narrow enough beam and casts too much light around the ball.
Hey brother what is the best way to get a hold of you through private message I have some things I’d like to discuss to you about some previous videos that really struck my interest and I’m looking for some advice I left you a message on Facebook messenger but haven’t heard back thank you Brian and
briansredd ok. Thanks. I messaged you on Facebook messenger. I’m going to invest in up lighting and deciding on Ape cans or Chauvet DJ Freedom Flex H4 IP X6 Wireless LED Uplight System with 6 Freedom Flex H4 IP pars, 6 Flex batteries, and a Charging Road Case FREEDOMFLEX I got pricing from IDJNOW ON THR CHAUVET system. I’ve seen your videos on the Ape Cans. I’d like to further discuss them for my investment.
@@MrHolderby add battery, cable, socket, and carry 8 if you want. I use these things called bags.....they work great for lights and all sorts of stuff. 😉

On my wish list for sure

I like the idea.
I wonder if these would also work for other small DJ light fixtures?
The M6 threaded hole is the key with this one, and the lights that don't weigh much helps as well
I do need them threaded plates for my tour pack!

Yeah that 10 degree optional lens on coins & cans would be ideal for that. I'll see what I can do at the end of the bottom plate video :)
Thank you! Looking forward to it!
Where can I purchase the M6 thread covers for my Ape Lab cans V1? I do not see them on Ape Labs website.
Do you think the cans are strong enough to shine on a mirror ball?
Hey Brian, did you ever make that vid about swapping bases?
does Ape Labs have just black or white units? can't get with the dated 90's graphics on the cans themselves.
Can you stick these on a tripod stand Brian?
Yeah sure with the right hardware
@@briansredd Ok thanks for the info man! You are very much appreciated!🙏
My man l like that not sure it will work for me and what I do. But I have a lot of DJ friends 42 years + and going.

Such a shame that the entire line of products is so ridiculously expensive. Great product....horrible price.
not really, compared to others, can you carry 8 of any other uplight at once.think not
It's not for everyone & no, it's not budget stuff. There's plenty of that out there for those who don't feel they can afford Ape Labs
@@briansredd there is a difference between budget and overpriced. This is not about being a bottom feeder gear buyer.
what lights are those?
