Hey Brian Im trying to decide what to get for my first lights and would appreciate your advice. If you could get 1 maxi vs 2 ape cans (with batteries) for the same price which would you go for?
I bought used ape light cans but they aren’t working right. I put new batteries in them and after say 30 min they turn themselves off, or when I turn them on they glow red and don’t do anything
The "Glow Red" is a low battery light. You want good Lithium Ion rechargeable batteries in there. The budget batteries give everyone trouble. Get the good stuff in there & you'll love them

i have trouble in the cold as well. Thank you! for showing a casual way to handle it for others that deal with this.
Thank you! Genuinely appreciated!!
I got one Ape can and stick to try it. Not bad for a little can. Not compared to Freedom Par Tri 6 but does a good job for a little can.
Lovely
Could you do that in alternating red & blue as the car drives by? Thanks :)
or strobe red & blue :P
@@briansredd Thanks for bringing a smile to my face.

Ever have an Ape product "walk" away at a gig ? That's what I'm worried about.

briansredd I put in Rayovac brand new and still have problems
@@reado1983 If it's glowing red, it's a battery issue. Let me find out what the recommended battery is for those.
Just to clarify, these are the Cans we are talking about, right?
