Brad Pitt told us about working with David Fincher in Fight Club and Ridley Scott in Thelma And Louise and the movies that changed his life and how it helped him become a Hollywood superstar

Those answers were absolutely on point.
"Thelma & Louise" + "Se7en" + "Fight Club"
And legends of the fall ❤
TROY ❤❤❤
12 monkeys!
@@justinaharrison7146You're 100% correct. A very overlooked movie. It's in my personal Top 5 since it's release
Se7en is such a classic.
Brad is the clear example of someone who's aged like a fine wine
Mmmmmhhh.😂
He looks more like Robert Redford every year
I agree. Very Handsome.
Bullshit
It's called plastic surgery 😆
“Groping my way through it” could be the most accurate quote for all of Hollywood for all time
The orange one was convicted of it.
I was just about to say the same thing. Wonder if that was an inside joke
He’s VERY and I mean VERRY specific with his words… I’m assuming he had his run in with hollyweird when he had to threaten Weinstein because he was doing or saying inappropriate things to Gwyneth Paltrow
@@mancubs880 i love how you think you know things but werent there. the internet is a wild place man
@@dark_sunset what are you talking about… it’s common knowledge that Weinstein was a predator😒. I mean he’s the only one that’s actually locked up still 🤣. There’s even other actors mentioning about how Brad threatened that fat piece of shit.
A good dose of humility makes for a likeable person.
I concur with your statement..✌️
I`d never expect such a megastar to be so humble.
@@bradpitt_13 Troll Alert, Everyone Knows you're not the real Brad Pitt.
Such a beautiful man to look at. The older he gets, the yummier he becomes.🥰😍😋
That's what growing up in Ozarks do to a soul, the parents deserve some credit as well
Me too! I love how humble and nice he is.
This is one 30 sec interview at a red carpet event lmao hold off on calling someone humble especially when they're on camera and are famous for playing a lie
Brad is someone you could have a beer with...
i agree
I did.. We actually do it often
@@vamsikrishmvk6724 was Angelina there?
He seems like that
Brad has stopped drinking any kind of alcohol this past few years. He is 100% sober. Bradley Cooper helped him with that.
My favorite Brad Pit movie; “Meet Joe Black”. He shared the lead with Anthony Hopkins! There were so many big stars in this movie. Brad Pit was AMAZING, in his role of ‘DEATH” and Hopkins was equally brilliant in his role of “Deaths Tour-guide” Brilliant!
Bravo to a great movie & cast!
If you missed this one, I hope you see it soon. I Love Brad he seems like a sweet guy ❤️
Same
Omg that's such a good one
Angelina Jolie divorced Brad because he was being a weird guy towards them idk what exactly happened
Same,I also love Troy
A River Runs Through It I thought was his best film performance.
He had realistic emotion and did a very good job acting in that film.
Damn edward Norton is so humble
Haha
And amazingly talented
😂😂
👍😂
😂
Seems genuinely good and humble for a superstar actor.
Brad, for me, shall forever be Billy Beane in Moneyball. Good acting is when you no longer see the actor, but you see the character he's portraying.
Lol, because of a short public interview?
Idiot!
That's kind of what I was thinking too. I was actually surprised by his demeanor. He seems alright.
Born down the road from me in Shawnee, Okla. .. then raised MO.. his midwest upbringing
@@jilltoby8
I was going to write the same comment. His parents raised him right.
7 years in Tibet was my favorite 😊
Imma watch it just now 😊 thanks for reminding me 😊
He's one of the only actors in Hollywood who'd fit in anywhere he goes and be loved. Thats a huge gift that not many celebs have.
Legends of the fall was awesome
That was when I first noticed him
Fantastic movie
My life wasn’t worth living for two weeks after…
That and Meet Joe Black were great!
That movie changed me.. so tragic
He played the best pikey I've ever seen in my life in a movie ....... SNATCH
Pikeys
So good movie
Better at playing an Irishman than leo
@@zjktz7782 You’re right, Leos Irishman impersonation from Gangs of NY is a bit cringey 😂 Brad deserved the Oscar for Once upon a time in Hollywood, But I thought Leo definitely had a good shout to be nominated in that as well. His performance as the washed up paranoid movie star was outstanding.
I agree with you. It's too bad that he doesn't get more roles like that
His biggest accomplishment is that, despite his looks, he will be remembered for his acting. He's had some amazing performances and has shown some range. Especially comedic, i really respect it when dramatic actors have comedic chops.
His role in 12 Monkeys is unforgettable.
Seems like a down to earth dude
Think his miswest upbringing had huge impact
“U seem down to earth.How?”
“Uhh…Gravity
A lot of people think interview with a vampire was boring. I loved it. He was excellent.
Soft gay porn
I love it too. Brad’s was almost beautiful in that movie.
Due to Tom Cruise.
I was going to mention the vampire movie, jokingly. Because he's referred to it in the past, as the worst filmmaking experience he's ever had.
Only because he had to spend the entire movie playing Lestat's b*tch, and having Tom Cruise slap him around for pretty much the entire movie! LOL. It got to him.
Sad but true. he was Tom's punching bag for most of the story.
That's why, in any photos from the set, he looks miserable.
Great movie nonetheless.
@@gerula7456Tom cruise was pathetic in it
Brad Pitt carry him in it
His energy is magnetic
I loved him in Across The Tracks with Rick Schroeder
Oceans 11 and once upon a time in Hollywood and as Vanisher in Deadpool 2 lol
Edward Norton is such a great actor❤❤
Who doesn’t love Brad Pitt ? If he’s in a movie …I’m watching it.
Not sure how Angelina feels about Brad.
@@alicecroll9195 well , given that they’re acrimoniously divorced , I’m going to assume not great
People are who appreciate good acting
@@jamesbrthjk4783 why else would we love him ?
@@vikkiLH77 His son prolly ain’t crazy about him either.
I'd say se7en was his blast off on his journey, yeah Ridley gave him a great shot on Thelma and Louise but him and David fincher collaboration took him up another level..such a humble guy and still brilliant👍
Props to Terry Gilliam too for casting him against type in 12 Monkeys the same year as Se7en….really showed off more of the quirky unhinged side of his acting.
I was just hoping he’d say “The Tree of Life” 😢
Naw it was 12 monkeys
@@dayra6425Same year 1995. But c'mon Seven is the iconic film.
Yeah, Seven was his first really big hit. I loved him in Kalifornia and True Romance, but they weren't the kind of mega hit that Seven turned out to be.
Dude has one of the greatest film Careers ever if you think about it.
It's cool that they asked him, "which movie?" and he responded with the names of people.
Loved him in Troy!!!!
Loved him in Troy ❤ and Legends...❤
Same here! It’s weird that Troy is such a long movie, but I can just turn it on and watch it.
A River Runs through It is one of my favs for a lot of reasons.
Legends of the Fall too ❤
@@dg5175that one is a classic family story with love and tragedy ...one of the most heartbreaking classic stories I've seen
I got into fly fishing as a kid after watching that !
He’s just so beautiful! God bless him.
Brad is always chilled yet not faking it like Tom Cruise
Brad Pitt is slowly becoming Robert Redford
I’ve always said that 😀
when Leo is becoming Jack Nicholson
Yep
Your maybe right
You see pictures of both and it's uncanny!
I didnt really get Brad Pitt till "Once upon a Time in Hollywood" and then I realized what a great actor he was
Same!!!
Watch Burn after Reading! His range is incredible
That was your loss. He has always been amazing
Watch him in 12 monkeys
Fight club, ocean's movie series, Hollywood and bullet train were for me
He was good in movie “Point Break”.
Interview was another excellent moment in Brad’s history
I appreciate the way he framed it by giving credit to the directors and his costar in Thelma.
she picked him personally for the role.
@@MelodyT78wouldn't you?!
Agreed. Also, him naming the directors instead of the movies themselves makes me think he was and is more interested in the craft of film than the wealth or recognition. Maybe I’m reading into it too much..
@@kristopherjon6496the director usually chooses the leads. Gina was involved so she got a shout out.
Geena fought for him to get the role
That's cool. He was really engaged in the conversation. Considered the question and gave a considered answer.
Although he named the director not the film. So I’m not sure he was that engaged.
@@NORTAH85 "Ridley & Geena bringing me in to Thelma & Louise..."

@@NORTAH85what do you expect him to do ? Name all of his films ?
@@Nichwar19 just the film, not the producer
How could he not mention, a river runs through it. I've watched so many times.
Brad is the kind of somebody that would come over and have grilled chicken and macaroni and cheese with you , who is the kind of person that would help you change a tire or some other similar task. He just puts off that good vibe.
Midwest upbringing
Angelina said in an interview
years ago
that he came from “common people”!
@@jilltoby8I’m from the Midwest and the guys are like Bradd. Relatable for sure.
Yep.. i know! He was born about half an hr down the road from me [Shawnee, Ok] - family later moved & raised in MO. I've read he & Angelina continued to visit his grandmother & other family thru the years [still residing in Shawnee] once they had their children🩵
Brad seems like he has always remembered his beginning in the movie industry and has remained thankful ❤and down to earth..
He is so professional. He leads by example and is so inspiring.
He had a string of awesome movies in the 90s. He was going from strength to strength.
Wow he’s definitely spot on. Those two were the two that placed him where he is today
handsome and down to earth, amazing Brad Pitt
Legend
My favorite Brad movie will always be "Legends of the Fall." His brilliant acting and that great long hair set him apart from every other actor. He was fantastic in that movie.
He has an insane filmography, so many great films , he is a true legend of cinema , like Tom Cruise
Fight club, Seven, inglorious Bastards, Interview with the Vampire, Seven years in Tibet. So many great movies
The Benjamin Button movie was awesome
For what it’s worth I really liked that one aswell
Meet Joe Black and Legends of the Fall for me, epic films
I loved them borh myself.
A river runs through it and legends of the fall, both about same time, both incredible
Absolutely agree!
The masses will never understand how truly beautiful and introspective both of these films are. And that’s alright with me.
I love them both as well but Legends of the Fall will always be my favourite.
His performance in Jesse James was outstanding, certainly Oscar worthy. That film is a masterpiece.
Such a genuine individual & a very sweet person... Always liked Brad & the role's he's played... Snatch with Mickey, what a treat !
I've been a fan since "A river runs through it".
Meet Joe Black was memorable. I loved that movie!
I love this movie
Meet Jack Black would have been a good film
Meet Joe Black
Bro is so humble
Finally a simple question that fans appreciate
What a nice guy and still looks great!
He is a respectable man. He didn't break the first rule. He didn't talk about Fight Club
I remember seeing Brad Pitt for the first time on television in the show Growing Pains. Then, the first movie I noticed him after that, was Cool World. I loved his work in Cool World!
Thanks for the support. It's my most pleasure having you here. Thanks for your support. You have been giving me all these years. I won't be here if not for you my lovely fan. I hope you find joy and happiness in my movies? I will have to call you my super fan.

He's just so darn pretty. My favorite actor.
Brad Pitt is legend
Nice interviewer; Not too pushy and a good question with an interesting answer.
humble dude.. always be a fan.
These guys are like us - they chose acting . Very down to earth . Very likeable.
He will forever be handsome❤
He was awesome in True Romance!!
I still have a hard time believing James Gandolfini is only 2 years older than him when Brad looks like kid in comparison to him in True Romance and The Mexican.
"i dont have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of, all i got is fuckin Floyd!"
Such a humble guy.
He was phenomenal as a serial killer in “Kalifornia”. That movie made me realize what incredible range he had as an actor.
Omg so beautiful and humble
He definitely seems so much happier now. I feel like we finally have Brad Pitt back! I'm sure he wouldn't change anything because he loves his kids but I wonder how many more movies we might have seen him in if he hadn't gotten involved with AJ.
Zero nada Nothing
I'm sure the experience overall was good for him in many ways, and then to lose it as well. He's probably learned a lot from it. I'm glad he's no longer drinking and stuff.
Message to Harry: you can survive a narcissistic psychopath and thrive.
Yes, I agree Thelma and Louise got him his start in the big leagues, but I had seen him in a Levi's Jean's commercial called Camera. It came on tv earlier in 1990. I didn't know who that guy was, but he really impressed me!! Then, when Thema and Louise was released, I was given the name to that face and now the rest is history!!!! Troy, the three Ocean's, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons are my favorites. They show how versatile an actor he can be in so my ways!!!!
Love Brad Pitt

He's looking so good again. He looks healthy
A river runs through it is one of my favorites
Snatch best acting I’ve ever seen to impersonate a bare knuckle pikey is something else altogether Brad is one of the most underrated actors ever
He needs to make another movie with Fincher!
True definition of cool.
Troy is one of my favorite movies of all time.
This is why we like Brad Pitt , he's never lost his charm
Prince Charming.
Brad in seven was a amazing film and his role along with co star was awesome 🎉
Brad is legend
Don’t forget his acting in 12 monkeys and of course fight club. Along with seven his best roles.
Amazing movie.. and Gweneth's portrayal was so understatedly beautiful
He was great as one punch Mickey, Rodger Rabbit , every single movie he made was enjoyable.
Troy was that movie that put him on the map. He was perfect in it
I truly love this guy in all the ocean's movies!!
Pit is one of today's few good actors. He literally has played in almost every genre.
He’s a charismatic pretty boy, not a good actor. Arguably it was his relationship with Angelia that made him a star
Sci-fi?

@miguels you must b really young😅 Geez Brad Pitt is not that old..especially in todays standards of old age.

Still the biggest 'movie star' there is.. he & Clooney have enormous infuence
Troy. He was the embodiment of Achilles.
What did that change? Already a mega star who has proven his abilities and could pick and choose.
There will never be a better depiction of Achilles. He did a great job in that roll.

He didn't broke the first rule of Fight Club 😎👊

"A River Runs Through It" was the break through for me
