@@JeriBellini thank you Jer, amazing right? 😁❤️
Never done a mandala before so this exercise is going to be very exciting ❤
@@carolbyrne3241 hope you enjoy Carol ❤️
Your drawing is not rubbish, it's very very good. IMO
@@cosmiccoyotedog-doreenb9605 well thank you ☺️❤️
This is easier than I had envisioned, I will have to try it.❤
❤️❤️❤️
My mum makes mandalas in the bush (woods) when she goes walking. She uses leaves, rocks, bark, berries. Anything lying around. They look so great.
That is wonderful, I have done that too. I also make mandalas with my ecoprint bundles and rusty bits when they come out of the pot. I call those 'bundalas' 😉♥️
@carolynheldon Wow that sounds amazing, is there anywhere that we can see pics?
We used to do this on the beach, in winter, with driftwood & seaweed & shells…isn’t it amazing, this human desire to create patterns
@@carolb801 Not really unfortunately. It’s quite a spiritual thing for her so I wouldn’t think she’d like her photos shared.
@@AlisonGreenValleyCrone absolutely 😁 do you know the work of Andy Goldsworthy? ❤️
This is so helpful - thank you for taking the time to do this. It will make the project much easier. 💟
My pleasure Mary ☺️
Thank you. I have had a go at this before and failed miserably - and very messily. I am going away now knowing that I will be able to do this. You are a natural born teacher.
@@suethompson8538 thank you so much Sue 😊
This was very helpful as I was, at first, quite intimidated by this week's project. Thank you so mjch. 💕💕
@@BarbaraEaves-vz1vl my pleasure Barbara, just one step at a time and I have every faith in you ❤️
You have very steady hands and your drawing is 😊
Thank you so much 😀
This took me down memory lane, back to high school, when I was a bored teenager... I would draw girls' profiles using only a protractor. I've since discovered the joy of playing with fabric 😂.
Thank you for sharing this useful tutorial. I know I can make good use of it ❤❤❤
@@sheilabennett3289 my pleasure I am pleased you found it useful 😊
lol that’s me also “not great at drawing even with tools” 😂 this video is giving me some needed confidence ❤😊
@@debrablanson2288 that's good to hear 😁❤️
That was an amazing video!
Glad you liked it! 😊
Completed on second attempt, happy! Trust the process you said. Did lower the steepness of the triangles. Felt a bit of a headache with pointed triangles. Made them shallower. I think I now know why zig zags and chevrons are not my favourite shapes. Off to actually making... dread... tiny fiddle bits...😅😊🙏
@@minimalist279 I can understand that, you could also round the points, make them less sharp looking 😉❤️
Feel like I would like to try this!!
@@evasvensson8521 that is great Eva ♥️
Very helpful. Thank-you, Kathryn. Am looking forward to trying this. ... Oh gosh, if you think you're no good at drawing, you should see me!
😁 I am sure you can do it Jill ❤️
It's a bit of a struggle, but rubbed it all out and started again. Still wonky. Sigh.
Thank you : )
@@bluestar.8938 my pleasure 😊
Excited about this project - but today I have a head cold so am mainly chair bound with hot drinks…maybe tomorrow…
@@AlisonGreenValleyCrone I hope you feel better soon, take care ❤️
Merhaba ketrin siz bence çok ama çok başarılı bir sanatçısınız bizleri eğitim öğrettiğiniz için teşekkürler Türkiye'den 👏😊💐 Hülya 🧕
My pleasure Hülya ❤️
I can't find the link to the drawing of your mandala.
Hello Lisa, I am not sure what you mean? The drawing is in the video, there is a link to the stitching video. ❤️
@@k3n.clothtales I thought you said youeould be putting a link to acopy of yourdrawing for those who did not want to draw their own mandala in rhe description.. zif Itry tidraw a mandala, I will spend days making it "perfect".
@@LisaHartjes i am sorry Lisa I don't know how to do that. Can you pause the screen when the drawing is visible and trace it from there? ❤️
I find it interesting you mentioning the British English, because I always write (or a try to write) British English and the autocorrect keeps changing it and I keep changing it again 😂, specially in words with the “u”, colour, flavour, favourite,… I’m writing and it’s underlining it as an error 🙄😂!
You got me curious with this lovely geometrical mandala 😃🩵🩷🤎♥️💛💜💚💙🩶🧡❤️
I know, the autocorrect is usually US spelling but I think either I have changed mine (don't ask how I did it 😂) or it's learnt how I spell things 😁♥️
@@k3n.clothtales Mine hasn’t learnt it yet 😂♥️
