This was a fun video to put together, tiring, but fun! My family carried every single one of these printers from Studio B over to Studio A so we could film each one of them. And of course, they carried them all of the way back over there. AMAZING! Thank you family!

I think I agree with you on your entire list of recommendations! I'm sure people will be surprised about the K1C, but the truth is the current Creality printers have a poor extruder design and inconsistent results. There is no reason to buy a K1 or k1C over a Qidi Q1 Pro, which is generally only $439 for $449 with a coupon. Nice overview video!

I'm very unsure about which one to buy at around these prices, I haven't seen the Qidi yet. I was just in doubt between the K1C or the Flashforge 5M Pro.
@@thegladian I do not recommend the K1C given the overall issues I have seen people have. The Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro will produce a higher quality end product. Personally, I'd go with the Qidi Q1 Pro. It is $419 right now with coupon and it has a large build volume, a heated chamber, and Qidi has the best customer support.
Doesn't the quidi have bed leveling drift due to the inductive probe they used ?
My personal list by price: Ender 3 v3 se $159 , Bambu A1 mini $199, Flashforge AD5M $299, Anycubic Kobra 2 plus $360, Anycubic Kobra 3 combo with multicolor $449. Those are pretty much THE best bang for buck on the market

My SV08 is amazing. There is one big issue and that is the z-offset. My first layers are ALWAYS garage. I started looking through the macros to see if I could get it to do the z offset calibration before bed mesh, but the macro dependencies are a nightmare to deal with. I thre in the towl and bought a BTT Eddy. But that's going to require me to update klipper to BTT's fork. I'm going to try to reuse the .cfg files from sovol on it, but as far as I can tell I haven't seen anybody do this yet. There is an adapter on printable for anyone interested though.
I like the cooperation between you and your wife in these videos. I am sure it helps with the plethora of stats you have to keep track of.

My ender seems to make really good prints. you mentioned about doing some tweeking to get to produce better prints. What would you recommend. Is it just settings on the slicer? Speed? Nozzle? Thanks

There are all sorts of little slicer settings and changes that you can make to improve print quality and even speed results.
It’s always tricky when balancing features vs price but I agree bambu are dominating because of price point, but so many other options are great choices. Another great video

I know it's not out yet and it's probably next year/winter before it's an option but the CFS compatibility kits for Creality printers are coming so we shall see how the Ender3 V3 hold up by then.
The filament mixing head of the Rencolor is such a cool tool option. I hope they move forward with that for other printers.
The moment it arrives, I'll have content for it! And yes, that rencolor made me sad!

I got the Ender 3 V3 KE on Creality's refurbished ebay store for $177 out the door. It looks brand new. (Ebay had a 20% off coupon). ITS MY FIRST 3d PRINTER EVER!! I got 30 day return and 2 yr warranty included. It has been running almost non-stop for 2 weeks and it runs great!! Your vids helped me narrow down which models to look at. Thanks.

Well, i used one and i liked it, i like that i dont have to open the enclosure while printing pla since it does auto air circulation and stuff, good speed good quality id buy

I really like these videos. It's a great rundown of many printers and whether they are worth it with how they compare price for what you get with others. Although I did see the V3 SE on there and have to say, I'm not happy with mine. I think I got the runt and I'm looking for a replacement.

@@LoyalMoses not sure, it was good for a while and then just started giving me fits. Been an uphill battle ever since. Unfortunately with the lack of firmware updates and support or open source code, I just don't know what to do. It still has its moments of good prints but I think I'm past the tinkering phase and just want to print. Your channel has provided a lot of good information on other brands/models and general information so I'm on it all the time and in as many streams as I can be.

Any plans on checking out the Flashforge Adventurer 5m? I recently got it coming from a ender 3 and I think it’s incredible. Was looking at the a1 mini but the size was a bit small for my personal needs and a core xp for $300 I couldn’t be happier

Great review I highly enjoyed it. You are correct prices of 3D printers are dropping like a rock. For I watch for the best sales with coupons, if possible, to save a few bucks. I can put the few bucks to more filament.

A lot of those Bambu prices shoot right back up in a week or two. Good video aside from comparing against the sale price instead of regular!
We take the price as listed moments before recording. In the last two years, the sale price has magically become the regular price actually.
Where I live, the Bambulabs cost almost double its cost in the US. I’m torn between spending close to 2500 USD for the X1CC and 600 USD for the AnkerMake M5. Any advice on this?

@@LoyalMoses I love the BambuLabs based on what I see online. But the local resellers have priced it almost double if not more and refuse to give any offers even during seasonal holidays. I reached out to BambuLabs to see if someone thing can be done about this price point but they haven’t replied to any of my questions so far. It’s been over a week and BambuLabs has completely ignored my email requesting for their support on this.
@@LoyalMoses I ended up buying the AnkerMake M5. They seem to be coming up with a multiple color filament dispenser soon and their tool kit was really tempting to get. Apart from this, I’ve been a huge fan and advocate of Anker and Eyfy(another brand owned by Anker) for many years now. I trust in Anker’s quality and what really pushed me over the edge for this decision was Bambulabs lack of support or response while their products are priced that high. Anker was still 1/5 th the cost of the X1CC and kept dropping offers in my region. Now my M5 is cheaper here than in the Europe or US. Looking forward to my first ever 3D printer 🥳

I noticed the same thing, 109 for a direct drive, dual Z, all metal hot end and injection molded parts is absolutely nuts.
That said, I'd probably never get the deal anyways since I'm in Canada...

I had a house fire . lost my five printers, so I'm starting over. I pick up a ender 3 .I liked the no bells and whistles.the other one I picked up is the sidewinder x3 plus. Paid 130.00 and 289.00 for them. They work beautifully. I do helmets and a lot of Halloween stuff. so you don't have to spend a grand on a printer. I am looking to get a resin printer once we are back in the house ,but that is for another day.

@@LoyalMoses yeah alot of no. I am poor bring home$250-300 a week and I still wouldn't but alot of them. I have an ender 3 that was giving to me and I printed so many more for it meant don't work with it and I bought so much stuff for it to fix/mod it, I could of nearly bought an MK4. The ender 3 is still not assembled.

You can't choose a Bambu Labs A1 over a Ender 3 V3 if you have any hope of printing ABS or ASA since they shamelessly restricted the bed temp to pressure you to buy a P1P. An OG Ender 3 prints ABS... they really are the Apple of 3D printers
Nobody serious about ABS or ASA is printing without an enclosure. Also, I edited that video on a MacBook Pro M3.
