Some people are saying your tutorials are all looking the same, and I say... Why is that a bad thing? I love that I can pinpoint your style among other artists. I think you have a signature eye look, and the fact that you can keep that while using hundreds of different products is awesome! I actually prefer when an artist has a signature look that they base each of their looks around. For instance, I KNOW when a makeup look is Samantha's from Batalash, or I KNOW when a look is Nikkie Tutorial's... I love that each of your tutorials looks like Jaclyn, and not something you tried to do just to be "different." I don't know if this is coming across as I hope it is, but all I'm trying to say is that I hope you don't start changing for all these people who don't understand what personal style is. I love you just the way you are Jaclyn, and I know you grow from video to video, but you've never lost what makes you Jaclyn
Samantha from Batalash is always on point. And I head what you're saying. I could watch Jaclyn apply the same look everyday, it's more her personality that I subscribed for. It is really nice to watch her old videos and compare them to her videos now and you can tell that the only thing that really changed is how comfortable she is in front of the camera.

Etc etc . . There all looking like night time looks . Nobody is saying it looks bad . She has AWESOME TALENT. But for some of us we want to see more of her and her ability to do more makeup looks bc as a youtuber your going to please youre fans by showing them what they want to see aswell ..

Right! I don't understand at all why people think her looks all look the same! No, they don't. She is always using different products/brands. And obviously she is going to use the same things more than once because she uses only the best! Do people want to look like drag queens (no offense) or have a rainbow on their eyelids every day?! I don't get it. I love that her looks are not so over the top that you could wear them every day or or a night out! Is it because her technique is always the same? As it should be and her technique is obviously amazing! People will find any reason to make hateful/jealous comments.

I thoroughly appreciate the precision and attention paid to detail. Your blending and layered applications reflect accuracy and a sense of caring in all of your work. No doubt, this is reflected in your work on others. Sadly, I discontinued my long term subscription with a fellow "guru" due to a lack of the above. A recent look was patchy and slap-dash at best and yet she received praise. It baffled me. Thank you for your continued improvement and willingness to teach accurate techniques for the art of beauty.

You should do a video doing someone's makeup! Someone with totally different skin then yours like oily skin. I have oily skin and I've tried everything to keep my makeup on throughout the day and my face makeup just doesn't want to stay at all I even use setting spray. That'd be very helpful and fun to watch what you would recommend while doing someone else's makeup!

Also do someone's make up who has a different skin color! She always says that her make up styles will compliment any skin color and I believe her but since I can't afford all that make up I can't try out those looks and see how they would look on my much, much darker skin color.
I used to have oily skin & it was the worst thing in the world, I literally cry now that I can wear makeup and use all my beauty products. I love dry skin

This would be especially perfect if we could get a real time look at blending, how long it actually takes to get yours to look smoked out the way yours does. I can't seem to get mine do that as well, and I'm not sure if it's an issue of me not using the right brushes (though I think some that I have are the same as yours, Jaclyn) or if it's literally an amount of time I need to put in to blending alone. Good suggestion Ana Lopez !!

She does the BEST makeup tutorials on CZcams. She's taught me more about makeup than anyone ever has. This look in particular, I never knew what kind of colors to mix the insomnia pigment with. She showed me.
I hate that she catches negative comments and hate. However I think that's something all youtubers have to deal with. But I hope she sees the positive feedback and knows she's helping women everywhere feel beautiful and glamorous.
i did this makeup yesterday for work, and got about 6 compliments from people telling me how beautiful it was, even got my first official makeup client because of it. So Jaclyn, yeah i love you!

I know this might seem silly but can you or have you ever done tutorials/tips on a "touch-up routine" .... I think getting your make up to look good in the morning is easy since you are working with a clean slate but when you get home and only have 10 minutes to "refresh" for yourself and can't take off your face and start over can you give tips/suggestions on how to still look like you just redid your whole face? Are there do's/don't for things that you can reapply if you have put powder/setting spray on?? Any tips or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Can you make a video on how to make foundation look like skin? Everytime I apply foundation it just looks so obvious that I have it on even when I apply a tiny bit.
Add moisturizer or get a foundation that has thin coverage

Try applying with a damp beauty blender. It's fool proof.
I use mac face and body and it does look like skin but its just not enough coverage, the other foundation I have is Estee Lauder Double wear. I always moisturize and I use the F80 brush and apply a small amount and it just doesnt look natural. Ive also used Loreal True match and still doesnt look natural. I havent tried the beauty blender though.

I wore this look to a wedding I got so many compliments, this is one of my favs so beautiful.
You wrinkle your forehead a lot when you continue your makeup after you've applied your foundation and concealer, it causes your foundation/concealer to crease, building up in those "wrinkles" and at the end when you're done your makeup they stay there making them noticeable giving you "wrinkles" on your forehead that you don't really have.
It cause she's opening up her lid space to keep in within an under the crease line, which lifting the brows causing the lines. Still gorgeous
She also smiles a lot, pretty girls don't smile..... *she says sarcastically

I am LOVING this look! It's gorgeous!!!! Because I'm on a budget and maybe other viewers are as well, I think a similar drugstore dupe for the makeup geek insomnia is a color in the wet n wild comfort palette. Because my complexion is considered "Deep" on a makeup scale I'm going to achieve this look with a brick eyeshadow color from my coastal scents reveal 2 palette. Also, I love the nyx cream matte lip colors, especially in color monte Carlo. I can't wait! Thanks for this look!!!!
