TBH she’s drank heavily since she joined because at the beginning she was going through problems with her ex husband so we’ve never seen her NOT drinking in excess. Alexis is messy and mean though about her relationship with that loser. Reminds me of high school how she talks about him and saying petty things about Shannon trying to make her jealous. She’s not a good person to want to intentionally throw it in her face.
Alexis is only there because she is dating Shannon’s ex-boyfriend period. That’s going to be a catastrophe for Shannon when she admits to using alcohol to cope. I hope she rises above it.

Alexis and John started dating probably May or June. So they connected and Shannon found out and started flipping out!!

Shannon needs to stop consuming alcohol. Her DUI wasn't a "wake up call" for her. My professional opinion: In patient rehab-medical detox. Shannon is in denial about her alcohol addiction. Has she seen a substance counselor?💜🙏🏽
Shannon is doing what is called controlled drinking. If she’s an alcoholic it won’t work and things will get much worse. Whether she’s an alcoholic or not does not matter as she isn’t ready to admit that she has a problem. No one else can make her ready she has to do it on her own.
The mere fact that she's not stopping entirely is proof that she's an alcoholic.

Shannon couldn't even go three months without drinking, let alone six months. That is a problem.
Shannon is being as honest and open as she sees it. I appreciate her being honest with her point of view about the situation. If she's an alcoholic, she'll soon not be able to control her drinking and her behavior when she does drink and there'll be no question about the truth about whether or not she's an alcoholic. For now, she's in therapy, she's still on probation and she isn't jumping into another romantic relationship to help her cope. She is focused on standards on her own and living a better life.
Alexis, on the other hand, is throwing around her relationship with John like she won a medal 🏅. It's just the same Alexis, just older and thirstier! She's the one bringing up her relationship with John, not Shannon!!
Who is anyone to judge how Shannon is managing her situation. I think we should not be diagnosing people. Put yourself in that position. We are humans and make mistakes. 🧡

I am sorry! Everyone on that show talks about Shannon’s drinking etc but Bravo puts her at risk for ratings and bring Alexis on the show so the viewers can be entertained. What is with John’s integrity? It just feels a bit sick to me.
Shannon was an alcoholic when we first met her!
Almost every HW on every show drinks excessively while filming, many have fallen down, got in screaming matches, fell in bushes, hidden in bushes, ran off crying, there has been several DUI’s including Gina, Lou Ann, Karen it’s not just Shannon. You can’t say she’s an alcohol she has admitted to drinking to cope in the hard times in her life, you are not a DR that has the authority to diagnose her.

Though She's the only one who can truly say she's an Alcoholic it certainly looks that way. That's what we Alcoholics do. We drink until we have an epiphany and or a bottom so great that we're made to look at our problem. Shannon has had a bottom but seems to need another to stop. She hasn't hit her bottom.

John seems to have drinking problems himself, and she is thirsty. I never liked her and hope she and sloppy seconds are gone soon!!
What Shannon is saying could be true. Only she knows what she is going through. She has had some tough years with her exes David and John and excessively drinking to cope makes sense. I've been there. And Shannon is a beautiful woman and John is NOT a good looking man!! She can do better. She just has to learn to be a strong independent person and stop being codependent on men. But it ABSOLUTELY makes for a juicy story line and honestly the only reason they brought Alexis back. At this point for fans to keep placating Shannon's bullshit, is dangerous, if this wasn't her rock bottom and she's still thinking she can socially drink as an alcoholic bc she is, she's hiding it, explaining her drinking and trying to give excuses, she is an alcoholic, so if that's not her rock bottom, God help her, bc when it comes it will be awful bf clearly wrecking into someone's house (which she's still lying about in interviews saying she revved the engine) and almost killing her dog and herself, her rock bottom is going to have to be extreme to snap her out of it.
Until she leaves this show, she's not going to stop bc she thinks she needs to have it to have fun and be social. She has to quit this show or she's going to kill herself or more than likelier, someone else.

The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her
