- Our little filly has a name and we wanted to share it with you all! Today she is getting one of her first lessons on leading and being handled. She is doing great!

June is a great name! (1) birth month (2) easy to say and differentiate between the other names on your farm.
Little June is identical to Bree at that age!!! What a beautiful team they will be all hitched up in a few years!❤ Two full-blooded sisters together. Just like Baron and Earl being full-blooded brothers! It will be interesting to see how big they will be at full growth since she and Bree are half Belgian/half Suffolk! Lady keeps side-eyeing Skippy; don't think she trusts Skip around her baby! Can't blame her. She is very protective of her baby girl!
My favorite game every episode is "spot the chickens" lol. It amuses me all the places I see them wander
LadySagitar, from LadyAquarius, I play "spot the Kittens!" Apparently, there's a new batch that Jim and Brenda haven't counted yet! Maybe their excellent vet does spay-neuter on cats
but I love to see them slinking past in the barn, avoiding rascally Skip!

Bremda you are a machine when it comes to milking. I swear, had I not seen you milking by hand, I would think you hooked up an electric milking machine. You had such a rhythm going, it sounded too exact to be hand milking. I love the new filly, what a cute little June bug.

Good Day Jim and Brenda, Pansy is looking great and Brenda you've really perfected your hand milking . The new filly looks great and is showing some growth already. I really agree with you on starting June's early training teaching her to lead and handling her and starting the bonding and trusting process with her and Jim. I definitely like the name June, its so appropriate for her birth month. Bree and June are going to make a great Belgian /Suffolk Punch Cross future team. @@johnking8679 Saying he's a puppy is a mitigation for his behavior, it's like saying "my dog's a rescue, abused, feral, etc., that dog is old enough for training and should have been started at eight weeks with very simple lessons like luring and shaping.

Boy, that milking brings back some memories. we lived on a small farm 25 miles outside of Albany on the edge of the Hudson river valley. we had a Jersey milk cow. I milked her from the time i turned 9 till i left the house at 18 for the army. i normally went front two then back two....lol. it certainly does build up your grip and forearms. we bred her angus and then bred the mix breed heifers angus and over time, we had almost a pure like of angus. that filly sure is cute. i think june is a fitting name. thanks for sharing.

Junie! Love it, even though Jim’s clearly less keen. 😂 She is such a calm little foal and I think she looks a lot like her mum, both beautiful ❤ I think Skippy is being really good too, I was impressed how quickly he responded to Jim’s command to stop bothering her. I forgot about Pansy & William.....what a really nice guy to take sweet Pansy in his place to milk her while you two were gone. She seems to have settled in and feel at home too! Eating grass now (she's put on some weight & llooks better) & Jim said she walked right up on the trailer, no problem! HEY..... I thought when people semi-retired "things" slowed down a bit but you two keep getting busier, however, everyone, people & animals and gardens & fields ALL look happy-healthy-well cared for. Me Thinks, more people truly need to go back to farming (organic) in the great outdoors, take care of animals remembering to be kind & respectful. Some how humanity lost its moral compas in moving to "The Big City". OOOPS....didn't mean to get on the "soap-box". Anyway Jim & Brenda, thanks for sharing your life on the farm.........it is truly refreshing. ❤😊❤

And can also make yogurt. It is so good when made from that rich fresh milk. It's easy to make and can also be used for cooking and baking.

Such a life.my fondest memories are from home on the farm.chores before school like milking and minding the stock.milk cow.beef animals,pigs chickens turkeys rabbits and horse.this time of year the garden.I’m 70 now and still my hand in but the family farm was sold years ago when Dad needed to rest and retire.I look forward to everyday for your videos.So much loving effort you put into life
