The quote on the Left 4 Dead 2 Fandom Wiki site is "Veterans Memorial Bridge is a vertical-lift bridge crossing the Mississippi River in New Orleans, Louisiana. It serves as the main objective for the Survivors and is seen throughout the campaign, The Parish of Left 4 Dead 2." But this bridge in reality is not a vertical-lift bridge. There are 2 vertical-lift bridges in New Orleans including the Danziger Bridge and the Florida Avenue Bridge. So maybe the game took some creative license with the facts on the bridge. Works for me!
