Fantastic cutter. The pull became more natural when I started grabbing the handle up closer to the bend. Then you can lock the long part of the handle up into your forearm, and just move your whole arm (or body) backwards. It’s easier, at least for me, to keep a constant speed and pressure that way especially with a longer cut. Anyways just a tip if anyone’s still listening, lol.

I bought the 50" rip cut / 35-7/16" diagonal cut version (Sigma 3E4M) of this tile cutter. Other than having a greater cutting capacity, the unit I purchased has two extension support arms on each side, two transport wheels on the end and a push style handle (worth the extra cost in my opinion). It has been a great purchase and I would highly recommend the Sigma tile cutters.
Referring the the 3E4M model; I have seen several installers remove and install the cutter handle turned around 180' and use a push scoring stroke moving towards the fence instead of the factory installation design of a push scoring stroke that goes away from the fence. That is my preferred method of using this cutter as it helps to keep the tile tight against the fence and I'm not having to lean over the fence end of the cutter.

I purchased one and for some reason its inconsistent. Sometimes I get good clean cuts and sometimes it breaks the tile. I have adjusted the height of the bar and lowered it with the same results, and have tried everything I know to do. I just can't figure out what I am doing wrong. If you own one and happen to read this please give me some input. i don't even use it on jobs now (I would like to, but don't) because it hasn't been dependable for me. On the other hand, I have a 14 inch sigma and it works great, I love it. so not sure what is going on. Maybe it has a bad wheel. Not sure.

I'm in sure id like the metal spring loaded plates V's the rubber pads. Seems like it'd be slippery. My old Qep 24 inch got burned in a fire and melted the handle and messed up the rubber. So been looking into a replacement. The biggest tiles I've laid is 24 x 24 cept for the plank wood look porcelain. And my Qep cut that fine. I do tile periodically, so don't need a 600 dollar snap cutter. Pretty though. Thanks for the show.

Have a problem with it, basically out of the box.... rail seems somewhat flexible sideways, and when scoring the rile, it doesnt cut straight.... every single tile on length (24 inch to 36 inch tile), cuts like a ski on the farter end of tile, near the ruller no problem, good straight cut.. basically, 1/8 or 2mm difference which is unacceptable, especially after using and owning 4 other sigmas, never issues .
