I have jammed with this late, genus of an artist WHO WAS HOWLIN WOLF'S RIGHT HAND MAN, and a base player of Late, great Howling wolf band at a now defunct Joint known as the 1815 Club on thee west side of Chicago, at 1815 W Roosevelt road. Great guy he was, Wonderful times indeed. I met a girl from Mississippi who said Wolf once had a session in her house down south, they jammed so hard the floor fell in and they kept right on playing, from what I have seen I believe her.RIP WOLF GANG, YOUR LEGEND WILL LIVE FOREVER.
This is one of the most truthful songs to ever be recorded, song or played. Any man or woman that has ever Loved someone. When you listened to this one, you knew cousin Hubert song it for yooooooouuuuuuuu !!!!!!!!
got the chance to see Hubert in NY city few yrs ago in a small bar playing on a stool with a les Paul and joking with the audience. playing the last of the real blues we will ever hear. never forget that one, what a show and a musician
Now there is no one that can say this is hard to listen to. He had great style and he always will be known and remembered for it. He is in Blues Heaven, we can visit but for now we cant stay. He is loved by a whole world and he gave that love to anyone he was around. He was not a big shot but he was a great LEGEND, then, now and forever.. Peace Hubert, and to all your family and friends.
ООчень нравится, слушаю и не могу наслушаться! Пиано это шедевр, Гитарныее крючки... одна нота заменяет минуту музыки !!!! ООууу !! )))) и опять пиано ......
The Late Great Hubert Sumlin was a master of bending the guitar strings to his very will. So many of the greats are gone and there is a massive void left that can't be filled with the musicians of today!
Sad but true. I have often wondered what is going to happen to the music industry when all the old masters have gone. If what I hear on radio today is anything to go by - then we are in trouble.
Absolutly one of d best touching Blues i have heard!! Thanks B C, this song shows me how great he should be, a truly Genius, thank´s for d up load. Now is in my fav. list..., mean a lot to me...
Sweet Jesus, this is some smooth Blues...Hubert this is going on my playlist Sir! Excellent sound ...just right to listen too anytime of the day or night.
Hubert Charles Sumlin (16 de noviembre de 1931 - 4 de diciembre de 2011) era un guitarrista ... posición en la que actuó casi continuamente (excepto un breve período en 1956 en que toca con Muddy Waters) excelente Musico
Stumbled across this by chance. I've just gotten into Blues a short time ago, so it's all new to me. Thank you for adding the name "Hubert Sumlin" to the growing list of artists to explore. Amazing stuff.....
Very nice tune with some good piano & of course Hubert on the guitar. Some of the kicks near the end reminds me of the enigmatic British bluesman Peter Green.
This is one of the greatest blues songs of all time. Hubert Sumlin is right up there with John Lee Hooker and B B King. The sound coming out of his guitar here is otherworldly. (He's supposed to be one of few actual influences on Jimi Hendrix.)
Taught SRV, Jimi and Clapton the blues. When I stumbled over Sumlin it was like rolling over a stone to find pure gold.
Wow this is beautiful! How can anyone not like this. RIP Hubert Sumlin.
This is better then , almost everything . I am moved . I thank God in his infinite wisdom . Thanks for sharing

Des notes et une voix éraillée
qui flattent mon sens de l'esthétisme et surtout, qui me filent des frissons *v*
Wonderful...
This song is a duet..... the voice of Hubert Sumlin and the voice of his guitar....
In that case all blues is duet

Atomic Lobotomy
jimi hendrix did not have "few" influences. He listened to everything he could get his hands on
he really loved Earl King and Albert King
And Don't forget Buddy Guy.
One of our founding fathers.
