- The Weasle MMA just made his Who Really Won video to score the decision of Makhachev vs Volkanovski, he was insanely biased towards Volk and he skipped out a bunch of shots that Volkanovski landed, let me know what you guys think in the comments section below.

I like you Guru and your content but I looked at everything over again just to make sure I didn't miss anything and literally every shot you showed here does not land if you carefully look at it. I thought maybe you did find something I missed, but no, it's the same stuff I already saw.
1:17 - The punch is literally a slap punch, where's he connecting with the the palm side of the fist.
1:35 - The "hook" was a straight and if you go by frames you can see the punch go past Islam's head and not connect but it's hard to see in realtime
3:30 - The knee just doesn't land at all. The knee literally goes past his head. This piece made me think you were being disingenuous if I'm going to be honest.
5:29 - The "2 punches" did not happen. The first punch you were thinking of literally goes past the head but why not show it?
6:28 - This hook can be argued to be a light but the reaction of Volk after the sequence can make it look like the hook had more impact. I'm fine with the light.
9:30 - The punch literally has impact and gets a reaction from it. Medium strikes are not heavy, where they have to be wobbling. The punch also absolutely has power from Islam's momentum running into Volk.
11:45 - Volk's punch literally does nothing to Islam. Crazy to even argue any more than light for that. I can agree with a medium for Islam's counter, I was debating for heavy or medium when I looked at it originally.
12:10 - The uppercut was a light not a medium...
12:54 - Watch the punch in realtime, the punch has nothing on it. You have to watch these punches in realtime, slow motion, and frame-by-frame to. Also, if the punch doesn't phase the opponent, it doesn't count as if it does. It's all about the damage seen from the opponent, not the form of punches. You can swing a haymaker, but if it doesn't affect the opponent then it will be a light.
14:12 - Hard to tell if body shot lands given the angle of Volk's punch, I can agree whatever, camera is tough.....but to argue for medium is insanity.
16:17 - Body shot literally just misses....
18:19 - Body shot literally just misses, easy to see if you go frame-by-frame. It does look like it lands in realtime but it just doesn't.
19:44 - It literally just grazes, easy to see. How can you give a medium to strike that has little impact?
20:45 - Punch literally gets blocked and pulled on....come on man
22:42 - No you can't hear. I went back listened and unless I have bad hearing, you cannot hear a punch landing.
23:45 - I was debating whether to put it as a medium because of how much he swings but the punch just doesn't get the impact or a good reaction out of Islam.
26:17 - Heavy does not need to have the opponent rocked or stumbling. The elbow gets a clear reaction of Volk, I don't know how this is debatable.
27:54 - I can see maybe a light for hook as well for Volk able to throw back but the impact is clearly more than any other "light" strike which is why I put it at medium.
28:24 - It literally lands, but the punch doesn't do much. You froze it before the full extension of the punch man. The knee you keep talking about literally never lands.
30:07 - Brother, that's not the technique for the sweep lol. He stumbles forward from the forearm to the back of the head AND from his forward momentum. You also don't need your fist to land in order to cause damage from a punch thrown. Come on man, you have to know this.
32:09 - The punch lands on the lats, not the ribs lol
32:25 - Again, you don't need a fist to land in order for it to count as a strike
At the end, I think you are getting too caught up in the form of punches instead of the reaction from the blows. The form means nothing if they don't damage.

Regardless what you think of my channel, if you are a Makhachev fan, or if you are a fan of the Weasle, you need to see this video all the way through and understand what he tried to do to us as MMA fans, it is so egregious that I think it was intentional, missing so many Volk strikes and missing no Makhachev strikes, rating all of Volks strikes as light when he was landing flush full power right hooks on a hunched over Makhachev against the cage. Come on..... this isn't right, that vid has 500k views...

You made some valid points. Enough to convince me. I think it's also fair to say that because of camera angles, a lot of strikes are really hard if almost impossible to judge, so the only way to be fair is to judge both fighter's strikes by the same standard, whether that be conservative or lenient. I think the point best proven here was that Weasel's applying a double standard.

If you think about his entire "Medium Strike" category exists solely for his own bias where he can just give anybody he wants more medium strikes to prove that his favorite "won the fight." Islam landed the heavier strikes on the feet in the 4th round. Simple as that, if we re gonna count immediate damage>cumulative damage, surely Volk ate the bigger shots on the feet and threw nothing but arm punches on the ground that are barely total strikes. Islam wins regardless of the control time.

Volk did also say that he lost the 4th round though. So not even Volk agrees with the Guru on this fight. The 2-3 round was very close, but could've gone either way. That being said, how can people be mad at Islam getting the rounds.

Making a video about the events of a fight and telling everyone that it is a scientific system that is 100% fact to prove who won a fight, but then intentionally leaving out important information to shape how people see what really happened is the definition of lying to your audience, and trying to shape public opinion on the events. _NONE_ of that, is in the official criteria.

I know what the official criteria says-word for word, due to the number of times I’ve had to read it; And I’ve watched a bunch of videos and read a bunch of articles-where the criteria is explained by people who are actually qualified to talk about it…

Using his system, is basically the same-as trying to use the stats to determine who won;
Yes, stats can provide you some information, and often give you a rough estimate-but you can’t actually use it to score fights-because the _actual_ scoring is not determined by stats.
It’s the same with the Weasle’s system. It’s a decent way to get a rough estimate-but it’s not being determined by the official criteria, so it can’t be used as a “reliable source” for scoring fights.

i've commented this on weasle's vids before - the great flaw in the system he's tried to create is there's no real way to objectively measure what is a light, medium, and heavy strike. a guy with a good poker face can hide a heavy strike whilst a light attack may look heavy if the receiving fighter is moving away/rolling with the strike at the right time.
Exactly. His system is inherently biased, and it's not even how judges score. It's total nonsense he has gaslit his audience into believing is objective fact. I've commented the same and he replied in an extremely rude and defensive manner because he has a huge ego. Nice to meet someone else who spotted the exact same massive flaw in his system. Would love to see him define the difference between a light and medium strike. The only reasonably objective way to differentiate is non-significant and significant, which is what the official system is. This video exposes the blatant bias and complete inconsistency of his system.

In Conor vs. Poirier 2, Dustin said he got hit with a shot that almost knocked him out and if he was hit a second time he would've been in trouble - but he hid it so well that not even Conor noticed...if the Weasle did a breakdown of that fight, that would've been scored a light or medium shot despite the reality that it was probably the biggest punch in the round, simply because dustin was good at hiding the fact that he was hurt.

That right hook that Volk digs to the body at 3:27 in round 3 that Weasle describes as "grazing" really seals the deal for me. The other stuff is bad and pretty damning as well, but with that one, he purposely chose a still image of Volk's fist bouncing back after the hard impact is made, making it look like the punch was on its way to just grazing the midsection. Totally misleading and deceitful.
