When I was a kid growing up in Tennessee in the late 70s, ARS were huge second only to Skynyrd. ARS had a groove that, well all Southern rock (isn't all rock Southern in origin?) has a groove but Atlanta Rhythm Section had a groove that was sultrier and sleeker than their contemporaries. I am so glad ya'll liked it and would encourage ya'll to check out "So Into You" or "Champagne Jam".

ARS was formed by original members of a 60s pop group called the Classics IV that had hits with Spooky, Stormy & Sunny. Great songs that each deserve their own reactions. ARS did their own cover of Spookywich, which iis also worthy of a reaction.

Southern Rock, disco style. I remember hearing this, and So Into You when we'd go to a disco. I saw these guys back in the 70s several times. Once in a little bar, which was probably my favorite performance by them. They would stretch their songs out live, and let the guitarists jam. One of my favorite all time concerts was seeing these guys and Wet Willie. Both bands are so much better live.
Check out their song, Another Man's Woman. It's a long jam with a badass bass solo in it.
