I've found that I am so used to the short videos that my focus has shifted to very short term and I get a little antsy for the longer videos. It has even affected my ability to read books and do other things that require a longer time to complete and focus on. I need to change that so watching your occasional long form videos (among other things) definitely helps me to stay focused on one thing at a time. Plus I enjoy the ramblings!

These past few weeks I'm seeing clearing and throwing away lots of stuff from home, no idea why I'm doing it but it just feels right, I feel like I'm getting ready for something but don't know what that is at the moment. I want to reduce everything that I own so it just fits into a few boxes so when the time comes, I can move in just one trip. No idea where I am going but am getting ready for whatever comes next.

I try and watch every commercial I can because I know it helps your income. You have to watch it all the way to the end so it counts. Even the dead space at the end of the commercials. I think that’s how they’re saving themselves money. Because most people probably x out at the dead space.

The reason that there are so many different diets around is that we are all different, what's works for one person may not work for another so find a diet that meets your requirements and if it works ,follow it.

Hi Sean like a lot of your followers I really enjoyed this video and all the videos in fact that you have put out over the last few weeks . It’s interesting to see which way things will turn out for you as life is unpredictable and things can turn up that you don’t expect. I’ve found myself after 30 odd years of marriage separated and have moved 300 miles away up north to Cumbria and I love it here it’s like it was meant to be I’ve so settled here and made lots of friends and being late 60’s you think your time is over but no…so I say dream maybe do some planning look at other places sometimes a fresh start can be inspiring in lots of ways.
I love just tuning in and listening to your video whatever they are about , gardening, walking, shed talk , cleaning out stuff etc etc thank you for doing them and all the best in whatever you do 😃👍

A tip though not sure if I was totally legal when I started (I was very young) but no harm was done. I dug a depression, lined it with spare pond liner, backfilled, and in it grew some Mum-in-law's canes that she brought from Cyprus. It has stayed well contained and I have saved a lot of money on bamboo for the lottie. Just needs a bit of machete action to remove the outer fibres.

After watching your channel for such a long time you have really seemed to be more relaxed. If you enjoy the cat visits and chat with the Rusty plot people and you can afford another year if it brings you that much pleasure for the price keep it. Throw your purple brock and root veg, easy things that you eat. Strim the rest of the plot and enjoy your visits. Remember about veg carbs and keto total carbs minus fiber equals net carbs. My sis got rid of all table sugar and went whole foods. 35lbs fell off her in 3 months. Lets just say she was so surprised! She didnt give up any veg just anything with table sugar. Good luck!

Hi Sean, I really enjoyed that video, it was quite entertaining! I laughed at you saying about another viewer telling you about you moving piles! As an older viewer I'm quite used to your way of doing tasks though sometimes it's a little frustrating, it would have been good if you had something to cut those brambles down with. I highly recommend the channel 1bike1world to you as it features a cat. Basically Dean found a stray cat in Bosnia (I think!) whilst he was exploring Europe on a bike and ended up taking Nala with him, mostly in a basket on the handlebars or sitting on his shoulders and he takes Nala out on a lead, showing you the places he goes. So sorry if you know about this channel, wishing you Happy Gardening, No Dig of-course!

Your mention of putting squash on the Rusty allotment reminded me of something. I love Spaghetti Squash. It has a nice texture and is quite versatile, and it keeps well. I found one at the grocery that I liked and saved the seed. It's winter squash and they usually come true to type. It's one of my first no-dig attempts too. Each plant produced three squash .... this is the weird part... two of the squash were very ordinary, and the third was massive. This happened on pretty much every plant.

I enjoy all your videos. A lot of the longer ones from others on technical topics or health/dietary experts I will listen to as I am driving, or shopping or doing other activities and at faster speeds if it's not too full of good information. Yours I put on in the background while doing other things in the house.
I think your plan is a good one, and at least if someone is pivoting between diets they are still doing something about it! Getting more impatient as I approach the big 50, I find it hard to listen to people who complain about my arbitrary diet who aren't dieting themselves or don't have a viable alternative. Carnivore like Rick is doing is extremely popular these days, and I have various friends doing it to great success. I also cut out sugar several years back, but selected intentional treats like xmas cakes and mince tarts are a pleasure in life with a cup of milk tea that I value enough to make exceptions.
Not a fan of the daily xmas videos, others who do them seem to just be filling them with something to make them. But I don't have to watch them and it doesn't mean others won't. Hope you get a great xmas bump in the views.

I personally would record all the changes you have made on which allotments you have taken on and given up over the last few years. Thinking about the reason why you came to that decision. That might give some insight into what you really want from an allotment garden. I have two plots. One I had with my ex wife which I have now taken on as she moved away. For many years that shared plot fell into a cycle of getting overgrown and I rarely did anything on it. Only turning up when we got warnings for non cultivation. When I would spend a couple of weekends clearing weeds, etc. In the meantime I took on a half plot. Anyway the fact is that original plot is the one I really felt was the one. When she decided to move away I got permission to have the lease in my name only. This year I totally blizzard it. It’s now in the best shape it has been in decades. It just felt the place I wanted to garden. That motivation got me to clear and redesign that 10 pole plot. I do think you need to be content in a space to really put the work in. My half plot, I had put a greenhouse in and have decided (for the moment) to keep, but make into a low maintenance cut flower garden. With raised beds and wood chip paths. Growing dahlias, sweet peas and straw flowers, etc. I am only keeping it because of the community on that second site. So each plot ism happy with. One because the garden is mine and the other because of the people.

You know what I find myself saying to myself these days? About everything...not just gardening. "Do a little; do it often."😂 I think the harness for your camera in order to ride the bike and see the views from your perspective sounds lovely. I would love to see a Vlogmas...for Americans, seeing London sights and Christmas decorations would be novel; you could read from Christmas stories; you could make special dishes or show us traditions you observe; sing carols (we could sing with you in our own space); of course, show us garden adventures! I used to be able only to watch shorter videos, but I've gotten better and can sit through much longer ones now. Part of the problem was using the computer too much and developing a sore hand and arm. So, I learned some patience and can sit through longer videos to give my arm a rest. I'm very interested in no dig...seems to be a way of respecting the soil, ground, and gardening, and we can't argue about the results which seem tremendous. Yes, you're right. Sometimes just sitting outside and feeling the wind and coolness rush around you keeps us in touch with ourselves. Cheers!

Personally I really enjoyed this style of video mate. As for the diet/lifestyle, you should check out Prof. Gabrielle Lyon's videos. Protein is something most of us are seriously deficient in. She advises (and she is a researcher and expert in) 1.5 grams per lb of ideal weight. Which is far more than most of us eat. This is to feed the skeletal muscle which she points out is vital for health and longevity. I'd be most interested to hear more about your Paganism, (being one myself). Good luck lad .
