What an incredible good restoration job I never thought it would look so good and work again from the state it was in! I've never seen a fully automatic AK-47 air gun before, interesting find! I'd love to own one of those, don't think you can buy them new (at least not legally) here in the UK, only semi-auto.

That's funny, because as a repair technician, it's my job to know how it went back together. I see more difficulty in the craftsmanship side of it. The treatments, tools and techniques. I replace parts, Restore DIY goes deeper. I install motors, he removes the motor housing and rewinds a new copper coil from scratch. An old man once asked me "dont you guys repair the motor?" I said "what do you mean?" He replied "by rewinding a new copper coil". I was astounded that he both knew of and expected such a repair from an HVAC company. That was a good conversation. I replaced the motor and had to explain that we never were taught to perform that level of repair. I learned something that day.

He made the rust with salt, vinegar, and hydrogen peroxide. The vast majority of these "restoration" videos are just fake rust to fool the masses.

Breaking things down is pretty simple with the right tools. The reassemble process however with so many small parts, remembering what goes where & in what order ect is what impress me the most..truly amazing work.

Магазин и правда не от него. Но были огнестрельные и 7.62. Только они в серию не пошли. Я например на играх бегаю с ксюхой и магазинами на 7.62.

АК-74У. У - это укороченный. Патроны те же, что для АК-74. Выпускался для лётчиков и танкистов. В реальном бою не применялся.

The AKS-74U is the extremely short carbine variant of the AK-74. Like its parent weapon, it is chambered in the smaller 5.45×39mm cartridge, but also has a slightly higher cyclic rate due to its shortened piston stock.
This airgun is modeled after AKMSU, a very rare weapon you have likely never seen before, and never see again.

Ok, this *_DEFINITELY_* looks like that gun was aged and rusted artificially just for this video, coz that's clearly a relatively new model airsoft gun (yes, air *_SOFT_* gun, not air gun!) and for it to end up looking like this naturally it would've taken YEARS, if not DECADES of being exposed to the elements, and it wouldn't have looked this uniform all over the gun!
You do know airsoft has been around since the 1970s right? Because it originated in japan

I begged and begged my dad when I was a kid for one of these and now I think I'd like one even more than ever. Never realised it was an electronically fired piston tho great videos mate keep up the fantastic restorations
After watching this and now being "an adult" I went searching for one to buy and was very disappointed to find its a .177 bb gun, as a kid I could of swore the one i saw was a 177 pellet gun and why I begged my dad for it.

. That is where you're wrong, my friend. It's an LCT aks74u AEG (auto electric gun). LCT is the airsoft gun company of this particular model. It fired 6mm bb's. If you need anymore info, i'd be glad to provide you with it.
@MrBeny127 please explain what it was I was incorrect about. The one I seen as a kid like I said I swore it was a .177 air gun. The one I have since found was a .177/4.5mm bb gun.

@MrBeny127 if memory serves me right, and tbh it was like 25 years ago it was a springer. But it was a long time ago so It's possible that it was a co2. I know it was heavy all metal with folding stock but again it was a long time ago so it's possible it was only a few pounds lol

Почему не сделал регулировку шестерней шайбами?
Шестерни помазал маслом, а не густой смазкой.
Реставрация механизмов не качественно сделана. Долго работать не будет.
Поверь, я очень много уже отремонтировал и улучшил таких автоматов.
Ствол вообще не понятно чистил внутри, если да, то как и чем.

@@nyck8235 cara , a lct não fabrica airgun para esfera de metal, somente airsoft ... o cano é em latão e não em aço para suportar esferas de metal sem desgastar .... e tambem se voce assistir com cuidado , os rotulos das maquinas , e insumos que ele usa estão em portugues alem de serem marcas nacionais ... posso estar enganado , mas eu os detalhes indicam isso.

Для таких как автор данного видео, существует отдельный котел в аду. Ради ролика гробить страйкбольный привод, это перебор. Как инженер-техник говорю, такое нереально в природе увидеть. Что бы хотя бы так покрылось коррозией, надо что бы он пролежал не один год в земле или в болоте. 99% того что была обработка кислотой. Но вот незадача. Провода у лст покрыты пластиком, а кислота пластик не особо берет то) а что бы ржавчина была и на пластике, это треш. Особенно вкатило вид проводов и разъема, как будто новенькое все. Одним словом поржать можно.
Меня больше удивило что он в страйкбольный привод:
1. Когда собирал не поставил внутренний стволик.
2. Когда зарядил стальные шары.

That thing had to be stocked in a bucket of water for months lol, no way it can get this rusty like that, even in the insides. I've stocked some steel airsoft guns for up to 12 years without touching them once, and this never happened.
yeah I also doubt the model is old, could've been an airsoft LCT AK.
I've come to the conclusion this guy sprays em with a rust-enhancer for a short period, so they look awful but clean up easily.
