CRADLE MOON RIDE 13 MAY 2023 - WOESLEKKER

WOESRAND MTB Saturday A-Group Ride to Cradle Moon and back. Decided to do the yellow route.
From home we rode about 35km to Cradle moon, the yellow route is +/-20 km, not too technical, but challenging, nice and smooth with some rocky patches, tight corners through the trees down by the river section and many short sharp little climbs and dips. All in all a great ride, even saw some Zebra, various Buck / Antilope and Giraffes ... as well as some hikers :-)
Cradle Moon is also very popular amongst hikers, trail runners and people just wanting to enjoy some fresh air out on the trails. There are various trails to choose from with different difficulty levels and distances. For more info visit www.cradlemoon.co.za
We ended up doing +/- 80km with +/- 1100m of climbing.
We are really so blessed to have trails such as these in our backyard, riding distance from home with numerous coffee / refill spots along the way.
