- Geoff May has been around the racing game for a long time. As a racer. This time around, May will come at it from a different direction as he makes his team-owner debut at Barber Motorsports Park, May 17-19, as the man behind the GMR/Jones Honda effort that will field Gabriel Da Silva in the MotoAmerica Stock 1000 Championship. Great interview. I remember Geoff when he began in the late 80's and early 90's. He was in his teens I think. He was very fast then and a great new talent. He's come a long way and it seems his new team will be a reminder for him of his best memories. Best , Allan
Met Geoff around 2008 at Jennings. He was very humble. I had no idea who he was. We were in the photo camper and I saw a photo of him with him elbow down. I walked away impressed with his humility.
Good to see Geof May again , he came a long way since early 2000s ...
